Thank you for creating these - I can't find any help for our BY-20. Can you actually print only white if you want fonts as a design? Also did you set up your cut contour with your BY20? Our installer said we didn't need it and didn't put the blade in - this seems like a mistake.
Melissa having an issue getting true red to print on the BY20. I have my white layer set just fine but when printing a true red as in a red solo cup type red it comes out more orange then red. Do you have a video on how to adjust colors such as red in Flexi or VersaWorks? I'm using Flexi which sends to Versaworks I'm sure you are well aware of. So many settings it's overwhelming and you always break things down very simple.
Should have also added I have a perfect nozzle check and Roland ink's are near full. I thought maybe a clogged nozzle but not the case. I'm thinking it's color profile but I'm using whatever profile was setup in VersaWorks when I downloaded and installed it have not changed anything.
Sorry so many questions. I have a color design that also has white text under it. When I select Solid Underbase it does fine with the image itself but it fills in areas of the text that should not have white underbase. So for example an "A" it will fill in the entire "A" including the area that shouldn't be.

I just got my Roland by-20. Do you know how to just print white on specific parts instead of the whole image? I’m trying to leave the middle of numbers and letters the color of the shirt but it fills them in white.

I'm used to printing with the BN-20D so switching to this and having a completely different method of sending to the printer and adding white is really throwing me off. I wish I could just print through Versa like with the BN-20D.

Can this also print on other media such as vinyl for sticker?
No, this is a DTF transfer printer. If you want a vinyl / HTV printer, you'd want the Roland BN2-20A. shrsl.com/4mblc

We are having a hard time printing red and no one seems to know how to mess with the color settings on flexi. Any Ideas?
I would take it into Versaworks and adjust the color there if you're struggling with red.

Can this be used for the bn20d??
Unfortunately no. Flexi is only for BN2 and BY-20
Mine won't allow me to hit send
Look in the Utility and see if there are any errors or messages.
