- Chris Daughtry's voice has so much more depth, aggression and heat on it with every release from his new EP. There's a darkness and vulnerability to this writing that really hits home. Free Voice Lessons: chrisliepe.com...

All these years I thought Daughtry retired from making music and started this UA-cam channel to teach us about vocals.
Haha
Ive been a daughtry fan from the beginning. His lyrics are what get me. His voice is so unique just to him. Are they the best vocally in the world..nope but i will remain a fan ever after. Thank you for reacting to him!!
The Combo with Guitar and Drums is just off the Chain. Love Daughtry. 😍😍
I love the way you broke this down. I already respect the hell out of Chris Daughtry’s talents but you really brought those to light here. And I love your genuine excitement over it.
I love how obviously you just love music and singing. The joy and excitement you can see on your face and in your reactions is one of the main things that keeps me coming back to your videos. You and Elizabeth are both wonderful for your unfiltered joy of what you are experiencing.
Wow what a sweet video… ear candy… eye candy, damn! I’m about to go into a virtual diabetic coma 😉 Great analysis Chris. 🙌 Although I’m going to have to listen again (without the video) to really appreciate the vocal performance. 😮💨
And seriously for his age can we not just appreciate the gorgeousness??
I'll let you glaze over him lol but yeah, damn, you'd think that since he's getting old and has been out of the mainstream for quite a while that he'd kinda give up like most artists do. But no, he's completely reinvented himself!
This is the type of song that would sound even better live since you'd be able to hear the nuances of his vocals
The first time I heard the song was live in NH and it blew me away
Saw him December 3rd live. Just let me say, he didn't disappoint! Awesome performance
I have Never had anyone ever bring so many things to my attention and awareness and I have been listening to Daughtry since 2006. You are awesome my friend! Please coach me!!
I'd love to coach you! :) Join my free course linked in the video description to get started :) Talk soon!
Love hard rock Daughtry. This last EP is some of his best music in my opinion!
It's giving Bad Omens/a little Sleep Token vibes, I dig it
Yessss
He did cover a song from Sleep Token so I feel like Daughtry is going in that direction
so grateful for The Masked Singer, Daughtry said that doing that show reinvigorated his love for performing and he wanted to get back into making music, and now we have this masterpiece
He's on the brink of going to the Metal world, I hope they'll go full onto that in Part 2. I've been listening Daughtry since the first album back when I was a child, never disappointed. One of my favorite vocalist and one of my favorite band, awesome !
FIRE 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥LFG!!! 😎 👑 GOAT 2024 FOREVER Lisa Baltimore Maryland November 2024❤
This is so 🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
He should have won American Idol. His voice is stirring feelings in certain body parts!
You HAVE just HAVE to listen to The Purge by In This Moment and the scream at the end. It is unreal. About Daughtry, definitely one of my favorite artists, amazing talent.
Chris, is there a place for us to formally request songs for you to analyze and react to?
You two looks like brother
Right 😂
chris liepe could you please make a video on how to get a less airy falsetto. more like a kiss by prince type sound.❤❤
🖤
I thought you were Daughtry - you look just like him!
Another great video! Chris Daughtry has an amazing voice! Could we have a video on Cullen Moore from Sleep Theory?
Nice to hear this song!
really like the reverb in this recording.. Now I am beginning to learn more about recording ... so got some questions about choices to record myself and hope someone around here can suggest me which way to go.. Logic Pro vs looping station?!
I'm curious about using looping as a method to improve my musical skills, particularly in hearing myself and learning to create harmonies and octaves. How can I effectively use looping to practice alone at home? Specifically, as a beginner, what are the technical aspects of recording myself using Logic Pro's looping function compared to a physical looping station like the Boss RC-505? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each option? I have an Audient ID14 MKII and a Shure SM7B. How can I learn to record and listen to myself in a way that helps me understand and create harmonies while singing?
I like the idea of recording layers, lopping myself to also learn to both hear myself and then learn to make a perfect harmony or octave change on top of my own voice as a means to understand my voice better... please come up with some creative ideas of what route to go..
Dear Chris, check out Victor Borba’s Bury the light. He’s amazing.
I would love to see you analyse Josh Middleton of Sylosis. He said he doesn't doubletrack any of his vocals, so this would be interesting to see.
Comment for da algorithm

Thanks Chris, a great vocal unpacking in this video. Unsure as to Daughtry actually getting heavier or this album's & instruments tone (particularly bass, grt, drums & vox) has been either mixed by the same engineers or heavily influenced by 2023 album Skeletons by Pop Evil. The FX and mixing commonalities are too close to miss.
Please analyse Vic Fuentes of Piecre the Veil
Can you make a deconstructed video about You Rock My World by Michael Jackson pls?
Check his channel and go to the playlist section. He has a total of 37 videos on MJ.
@ yeah already did that but he didn’t do You Rock My World
I knew nothing about Daughtry, but I decided to check this analysis out. While I do like the instrumental, I'm not a big fan of the vocals. Vocals are a big deal for me, so I won't be checking out Daughtry beyond this video.
Thanks for giving it a shot! Everyone has different tastes :) Chris Daughtry’s voice gets me in a good way. He’s influenced by so many of my favorite vocalists and his voice has evolved into something really special, to my ears, over the years. But no voice is for everyone! :)
His voice is incredible. To each their own
Enough of this shit, where is Michael Jackson?
Haha. Guess we know what kind of videos you’re here for :) There’s more coming!
eww autotune I'm out
