Nice catch @The411 Love Glendale FD engines Responding their horns sound so nice along with Burbank FD Battalion Chief 1 with the dual code 3 z3 I believe it is.
Thanks! yeah they sound great, although the sirens from their prior retired lime green/yellow engines were louder and sounded better from what I remember.
@@The411UA-cam yeah I remember Glendale FD had a yellow engine which was a Pierce Engine and it was originally E21 and then they switch to the red ones and I believe the yellow engine 21 still in service which is now E721 or something I'm not sure also they had a Truck 21 yellow pierce tiller.
@@SebastianBarajas-zm4br All their reserve fleet are now the red engines. They don't have anymore of the yellow/green ones. I remember they had them for a while on reserve as E721 and so forth, but as of now no more exist in their fleet.
@@The411UA-cam ah alright thanks for telling me I believe that they sent the yellow engines to a auction possibly and I seen some reserve engines like 727 but their red and not yellow.
Yeah, I was surprised as well, I asked him he said he rides with them sometimes. I remember reading somewhere they were doing some program or something where they send a police officer along with the fire department. If I'm not mistaken for control at scenes and fire fighter safety. If I'm wrong someone can correct me but yep I think its a trial program I read about somewhere. He had K9 and swat badge on his clothes.
@@philipfieldhouse9229 oh, yeah Glendale had the lime green/yellow engines and trucks also, they phased them out to the red ones over the last 5-8 years I think. I remember seeing the last of those a year or two ago. I liked them.
Mutual aid fire departments are close to each other help each other out Plus they share the same dispatch agency so if dispatch determines Burbank is closer to a call in Glendale they will dispatch them and vice versa

@@SebastianBarajas-zm4br no problem. I just uploaded a video of stills of the older engines and trucks.
Awesome catch
Thanks!
What’s in the red sack all the fire fighter are carrying?
I'm not too sure what exactly they carry in it, maybe someone who knows will comment n let us know :)
That red bag holds their face masks so they dont get dirty while walking around with them dangling
Was that a cop that got out of engine 27?

Might be a cop doing his paramedic rotations to become a swat medic
@@dropbagit Yeah, possible. 👍
@@dropbagit definitely is with the full G3 uniform
Paramedic recert. You need to get a certain amount of certain runs before you recert or the process is longer.
When did Burbank change from yellow to red livery?
Are you referring to those bags? If so, I believe those were Glendale fire fighters, but I saw some had both yellow and red.
@The411UA-cam when I lived in Burbank, the fire trucks were all painted yellow.

@The411UA-cam that's it, lime green. I remember them going along Glenoaks Blvd . Thanks for confirming I'd not gone barmy in my old age!
