Nice 1 Chris good pans and great reminder of what to look for. It's easy to get the blinkers on and only focus on 1 thing and miss good spots. 👍🏴⚒️
I noticed that the gold here looks coarser then the usual fine gold you get on in creeks in your area :) Well scouted place, surely with more surprises when you work more at that spot and others nearby. The work done by the oldtimers there suggest a rich deposit. Fingers crossed.
Great work Chris, promising looking creek for sure! I wonder if the GPX with the 10X5 would be any good there? Or is it just all super fine sub 0.03 pieces?
Good luck I watched a bunch of videos before I went for the first time the one that helped the best was from Jeff Williams he built a fake river in his back yard and put real gold down it at different volumes of water to show where gold deposits and with that information I found gold in my very first pan (of course I went to a gold bearing creek where gold had been found before it makes it a lot easier ) let me know how you did.👍🏼👊🏼
There's a creek in my area I've been itching to prospect. It has no claims on it, no mineral information... nothing.... But it's called Gloryhole creek.... I wonder why they'd call it that 🤔
Yeah I know it’s heavy but why doesn’t it sink next to river rocks and only bedrock? Sorry I’m not that smart when it comes to bedrock and river rocks, oh yeah just one more thing do I need a pc to sign up as a patron ?
It isnt so much that its nowhere else, its that if you find it elsewhere, youve found it mid-journey to the bedrock. Sometimes a nice tight clay layer will act like bedrock and stop gold from wiggling deeper, but basically the best place to find gold is on or very near bedrock simply because of its weight.
Oh, now I know your gonna do a full length video on this creek!! 🤔😉 Right? 😮
i hope so
Why was there already several pans worth of screening on the bank ? He said was first pan
From test panning the day before. I scout before I film.
@@dustinjohnson3463 geez... lighten up Francis.. 😉

That's some nice gold for just an hour's work Chris, hope you do a few more videos from this creek.
I bet no one has inquired if you’re going to do another video of the area. 😂
Looks really promising based on that hour of scouting.
That was a wonderful day. Hell yeah.
That gold is no good send it to me for proper disposal...lol, good on you mate.

Very Nice Chris ....looking forward to seeing what you find in this creek in the next year...is this the specific one you were waiting for rain for?
Thank you for not doing a short. Screw shorts because of the bad user experience.
Great work Chris, promising looking creek for sure! I wonder if the GPX with the 10X5 would be any good there? Or is it just all super fine sub 0.03 pieces?
I'm surprised at how little black sands were with the gold.
Nice. Who needs Tasmania??
Tassie Prospectors perhaps?

How cool is that? Great gold for hour panning bro, well done!
Nice gold bud
Why if that is the first pan was there already several pans worth of screening on the bank ???
Pre film scoutwork, or else youd be bored.
Not how I expected this to turn out, But very happy it did for you. : )
What a spot
So, will we get a biggest taste of this creek find? Looks narrow?
Yeah I'm going back
@@SpudEngineering Awesome!
Thats what dreams are made of =)
What city curries
Not bad at all 👋🏻😎
2 grams looks like to me
Nice
Let's find the source..
Why does does gold always go to bedrock and no where else?
Because it's 19.3 times heavier than water. So it sinks until it can't go any further
