The monarchy in Canada is a very real separation from the USA. The Queen is visiting as Queen of Canada not as a visiting Head of State.

"The real measure of success of any community whether it lives in a modern industrial world, or in primitive conditions, is the sense of freedom, the ability to participate in self government, and the social and cultural development which make all its members fell that life is worth living......"
These words need to be spoken again.

I wonder if there is any footage of the Queen travelling down Brimley Rd in Scarborough in 1973 after the opening of the Scarborough Civic Centre, or maybe it was for her 25th jubilee a few years later. A childhood memory of mine watching her drive by in an open convertible car, and I can not find anything to confirm it.

The "Ontario Place" footage looks like it was actually shot in the Ontario Pavillion at Expo 67. Ontario Place never had a "people-mover" train. The hairstyles and clothing are from the 1960s (narrower ties, staff uniforms comparable to 1960s Disneyland uniforms), not 1973. The exhibit halls don't look like anything I saw at Ontario Place when I was a kid.

Good observation! Looks like you are correct that the scenes from about 38:21 to the end of the film are from the Ontario Pavillion at Expo 67. Scenes from Ontario Place (in 1973) are from about 32:14 to 38:21. For example, at 32:58 there is a plaque noting Ontario Place.
