- Douglas Ross explains his decision to step down as Scottish Tory leader after the General Election, saying he could 'hide away and do nothing' after colleagues voiced concerns about him potentially being both an MP and MSP.
Mr Ross said one of his biggest achievements as leader was to stop an outright SNP majority at the 2021 Scottish Parliament elections.

Nope. 17 years of the SNP doing NOTHING to realistically drive to Independence. There never was a compelling vision of what Scotland can be and how to get there, only promises of 'free' everything, joining the EU, UN, NATO without complying to any of their prerequisites, NO post-indy plans articulated, no plans for defense, for growing the Scottish economy and no clarity on currency or what would be the bank of last resort, nothing related to borders with the RUK, export / import tariffs, fisheries protection vessels, how many *real* embassies would be required / staffed / costed, whether there would be a passport office, a DVLC office, a GCHQ equivalent etc etc created. The list is endless because NOTHING has been done but they need to be costed and scheduled into any Independence plan.
Yet they allowed £ 600,000 of supporters money to go missing, ran up £ 14,000,000 on SNP Credit Cards, spent £ 7,700,000 on pretendy 'embassies', £10, 000,000 / yr on spin doctors and polling research - AMAZINGLY little if any of there gross overspends, missing monies, back door deals etc were picked up and broadcast in the MSM - cowards - too frightened to tell the truth
