Fun stuff! Added to my playlist. I mixed up the name with the first band of the hella dudes called Legs on earth. Also fun stuff

Hello Bryan - thanks for the review, nice to hear someone who 'gets it' wax so lyrical and articulately about our creation. Just to answer a couple of questions you asked - that 'tiny cymbal' you hear isn't a cymbal at all, or a glockenspiel, but a triangle. Also, regarding influences - we're into so much music, but the 50 years of music rings true for me, especially as I am a bit older than the boys and come of age during the height of 'grunge' and the explosion of dance music before it shattered into a thousand genres. So for me prog is a huge influence (Bruford, Peart, Collins, but above all Magma's Christian Vander), as is rock and metal (Bonham (obviously), Jimmy C of The Pumpkins, Nicko McBrain, John Stanier) but I'm enthused about all music as we all are and learning to play along to the Prodigy/jungle classics (Timeless) and a ton of Underworld helped add some restraint, other colours develop an ear for groove. Thanks so much for taking the time to review this; we've a whole album up our sleeves of infinitely catchy melodies, subversive time signatures and bold leaps into the unknown that we are currently recording and can't wait to unleash on here...no doubt accompanied by some irreverent videos. Ged - Leg's drummer.

Thanks for breaking down some of your drumming influences. I knew I heard a lot of music history in this song but I wasn't aware it would be as wide reaching as your list. That's awesome! Be sure to hit me up when you drop that album. I can't to see what other wild ideas you have in store for us.

@@CriticalReactions - No problem, I could talk about musical influences all night long, specifically drumming, but also songwriting and arrangements and production. oh the list goes on and on! Expect to here bits of all-sorts in our new album; from Cardiacs/Godley & Creme, XTC, Talking Heads, Zappa, Steely Dan, Radiohead and much more as we delve into the post-production mix possibilities. We will be sure to let you know prior to the general release and send you something. Do check out Legroom for more current flavours, but also our 20 minutes mash-up live recording/video/animation of our jazz/prog/horror piece 'Arnold The Slime King!' - ua-cam.com/video/fZSxAQqO6nc/v-deo.html

Great track, agree with Cardiacs and King Crimson. Would add Split Enz to the list

Yeah, I can't wait to listen to this in the morning. Ok, scrap that, I've been mixing a music video and it's rendering, so I will listen now xx
Rallentando, Ritardando, or Ritenuto if applied suddenly
I sent this band to my friends and they said they found Gentle Giant similarities. Nice, since GG was their favourite prog band.
Cracking reaction as always Bryan! All their music is incredible. Their 20 minute 'live-ish' track my favourite.

Ritardando.....dang I feel dumb for that one 😅 Gentle Giant is another good comparison for them!

Wild vibe! They made me think of a jazzier, proggier, more theatric King Gizzard.

Hey have you recently started to reduce the volume of the song during your commentary or am I going crazy? 😅

I haven't touched my audio balance in a year or two now so it isn't that. However this song has a lot of volume dynamics and it's possible that many parts of the song are too quiet.
