Hi everyone! So today's video is my first ever uni vlog here on my channel 'cause we just had our first day of limited face-to-face classes, so I decided to take you guys with me. If you guys don't know, I am a 2nd year nursing student at Far Eastern University (FEU) Manila. So I had my first return demonstration at school, the Intravenous Therapy. I also met my classmates, friends, professors, and I really had so much fun. It really feels great to finally go to school again. I hope you guys enjoy watching my videos! This is interesting. Nursing student ako dito sa US. Our timeline and pre-requisites vary from school to school. Ang hirap makapasok ng Nursing Program dito. May mga various Nursing programs dito. We have Associate of Nursing Degree (ADN) which is only 2 years and can get you the Registered Nurse License, we have Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), at meron ding Masters of Science in Nursing Direct entry where you already have a Bachelors in any degree and just take the core classes to get the nursing degree and get the MSN upon graduation. Then, there’s the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
BUT before you can get into any of these programs, you need to satisfy all the pre-requisites muna like anatomy and physiology, chemistry, biology etc…
You also needed to pass the HESI test or the TEAS test to even get admitted to the nursing school.
All schools here wont even allow you to enroll without finishing those classes. Kaya matagal dito ang nursing degree. You need to finish muna mga required classes before applying sa nursing school. Plus, all Nursing programs require their own GPA grades, letter of recommendation, health care job hours. May kanya kanya silang requirements bago ka matanggap, and usually it takes 2-3 tries on average bago matanggap ang isang applicant. It took me 2 years to finish all my requirements bago ako natanggap sa nursing program na pinasukan ko ngayon.
Ang bonga ng campus nyo teh maaliwalas at mga gusali asa gilid lang hindi ung bara barang tinayo lang.ateng pa campus tour vlog naman soon teh.more power sa inyo mga taga feu lalo na mga taga nursing
I am an incoming freshman this school year at kinakabahan ako kaya napa search ako ng mga uni vlogs and I saw your vlog, taga province kasi ako at eto ang first time ko na maging mag isa lang tapos sa place pa na hindi ko talaga kabisado, but at least pinakalma ako ng vlog mo since mukhang masaya naman 😭

My dad studied in FEU, I low-key want to study there too. That school is one of my choices in college if ever I did not get in Phillppine Normal and La consolation.

Graduated in 2015. It's a great school. More on honing your nursing skills, you'll be exposed to good hospitals. Theoritical wise, okay din naman but prepare to self study a lot, idk if nagimprove na teaching styles ng CIs. The alumni is pretty supportive, everywhere you go may FEU IN graduates. Once they know na from FEU ka, they'll help you. Proven and tested 'yan. Also, although di naman nagmamatter ang school once employed ka na, FEU grads are considered one of the best sa mga workplaces na napuntahan ko! Good luck w nursing school 💖
