I don't know if these newly introduced features are that useful or not. They do have their merit, but... For instance, I an¡m a certified Adobe Expert in Photoshop and when training my students, who happen to be photographers of all levels, IA may be a starting point but one still needs to tweak the resulting images with adjustment layes, masks, improve selections and what not. It isn't for me, I prefer to do it all myself as I need full control. That's why I shoot in RAW. Full control in essential aspects.
But remeber this is only the start. AI is a baby at the moment, at some point in the not so distant future, it could be doing it all with no need for human input. Companies will be going for AI over people - less money to pay out.
I'm currently working on a design I rather hope that AI technology will come to us quickly through innovative developments AI technology is still very useful to me
Have a feeling that in the future it will completely replace human art and design. In fact will replace most jobs. Not sure when though. I have had a year learning Blender 3D modelling but have decided to give up because AI will be doing the 3D stuff as well.
I think it's very sad that you gave up on something because "AI will be doing that". That's a really narrow way of thinking, and I profoundly disagree with it. There is a human element to real art that no AI will ever be able to copy.

I'm trying to learn Blender as well. However, I'm not giving up on it. I love actually learning and creating things with it. Should I also quit my current job because I'm a graphic designer and AI will render my job obsolete in the future? Nope, don't think so.
@@Artistram3d1 I certainly wouldn't quit your job, no. I assume work could possibly just dry up naturally when logos and other such graphics jobs gets sourced out to AI companies that don't require human designers. I can't say for sure. Time will tell. All the best.
Generative Fill only exists in Photoshop... in Illustrator we have Generative Recolor, which is in the same window as the classic Recolor Artwork (Edit > Colors > Recolor Artwork).

.Hello Olivier, I just checked every latest release of Illustrator (Public 27.7, Prerelease 27.8 and Beta 27.9), and they all have the Generative Recolor option (under the Edit Menu > Edit Colors > Generative Recolor (Beta). Can you inform me which version of Illustrator are you using?
@@AndyTellsThings tested with illustrator prerelease 27.7, Illustrator (beta) 27.9.21 and Illustrator public 27.3, maybe because i have a french version
@@olivierlusancay2519 I suggest you update all softwares to the latest version. The Generative Recolor should show up regardless of language (as far as I know only functions that are strictly related to language might or might not show up based on your Adobe account preferences, like right to left writing for Arab or Hebrew for example). Try updating the public release to 27.7 and come back to me :)

AI is copying everything the illustrators have created and it couldn't generate original idea. Innovation still needs humans.

Why not just use the existing recolor tool - especially in combination with the existing color sets? 😊

It is available in the latest version of Illustrator. Check if you have an update pending or try to reinstall it through the Creative Cloud app.

i restarted the cloud app thingy and now i have the recolor option after updating again
