✅ Thanks so much for watching! ✅ The slant heights of the pyramid are based on a pyramid height of 8m. The slant heights were calculated using the Pythagorean Theorem. The height of the pyramid is not labeled because it is not needed to find the surface area if the slant heights are given. ✅ If slant heights are not given, the height will be. Use the height to calculate the slant heights using the Pythagorean Theorem.
BYE if you’re in sixth grade doing this why the hell am i, an 8th grader, doing this too. Smhh Edit: i actually need this review bc i dont know how to do this at all
Great question. If the base of the pyramid is a square, then you'll only have one slant height (all slant heights will be the same since the base is a square). I'd have to see your specific problem, but I bet that they gave you only one slant height because the base of the pyramid is a square. Check this video out and see if this matches the type of problem you have... ua-cam.com/video/4s5klzj3248/v-deo.html
The base of the pyramid I have is a square only having 8.5 as the length As for the triangle sides it’s 9.6 So if each side is the same Do I multiply 8.5 by 4 = 35 Then multiply 8.5 by 9.6 =81.6 And then add? I did and I got 115.6 It’s wrong how should I fix this problem? 🤔

Hi my name is Sharon Justine .It was awesome so I want to learn more
Thank you very much Mr.J for this video this has helped me a lot!
Surface area equals base plus lateral area
thank you so much my entire school is so thankful espacially my teacher
Please do properties of four sided figures
Thank you for this! I learned a lot from this😁
Pls do surface area of pentagon
@MathwithMrJ does this formula work if there is only one slant height?

thank you so so much Mr J your the best super hero cuz you made me pass my test 😂😂😂😂
Thanks for your help 👍 😅❤
Can you do it but like shorten it ?
The base of the pyramid I have is a square only having 8.5 as the length
As for the triangle sides it’s 9.6
So if each side is the same
Do I multiply 8.5 by 4 = 35
Then multiply
8.5 by 9.6 =81.6
And then add?
I did and I got 115.6
It’s wrong how should I fix this problem? 🤔
Nice, also 1st
