@@aliceayel You are right I should focus on free resources. I completed most of your free stuff a while back. I find it good to get started for beginner.
I also completed watching ExtraFrench series. Wish they made more seasons, this was fun to watch. I should watch this again without subs.
Also have been doing Comprehensible Input video by Lucas on youtube.
I recently found the French in action series. 26hrs of video content for free!
Maybe I will go through the Le Francais Par La Methode Nature from Ayan Academy on youtube.
I tried podcasts in the past before but found them difficult due to lack of visuals. Yesterday I found the free innerfrench podcast. I was happy that I could understand most of what he said in the first podcast! Going to work on this mostly now and of course studying grammer and etc on the side. Hope to reach podcast #20 in 3-4months and start his Build a Strong Core program.
Probably will use the money saved and try netflix french shows instead, it is only $7 at cheapest plan and cost is shared with whole family. I recommend using netflix with the Language Reactor browser plugin to get interactive and dual subs. Thanks.

@@nsevv Our subscription is only 8 Euros a month so the same as Netflix but instead of supporting a big company, you support a small business and you are part of a beautiful caring community of other French learners like you. On Netflix you are alone and you may not understand what you are watching. Our program helps you to understand French step by step with no effort. Thank you for sharing all the other resources available.

No problem there is quite a lot of free content to go through like Easy French that I watch sometimes, I have some old computer games that I am trying to play in the French language too when I have time. It is hard to find a game with spoken French in it. There are these 2 games, 1. Pierre's adventure in French and 2. Newcomer that I am planning to play this holiday season.
For Netflix, the cost is shared with the rest of the family being able to enjoy their non-french content too so it is not that bad. If I divide the cost by each family member it becomes like $2. In terms of support, I am supporting the makers, and artists of these shows in some way although I think Netflix, distributor and studio take a big chunk.
When watching an English Netflix show with my family on the TV, I set the subtitle to French. In this way, I am constantly seeing French words even when spending time with family. :D. I also get brownie points for getting a Netflix subscription for family.
I also came across this amazing Language Reactor browser plugin which works well with Netflix and gives dual subs in English and French. Works on UA-cam too!! It makes UA-cam and Netflix really good tools for learning.
You are right all this is just doing it alone. I will need to eventually find a teacher in Italki or Preply to fill in gaps in my knowledge and work on speaking or maybe just make French friends. I will cross that bridge when I get there.
My main goal for now is to reach podcast #20 in innerfrench in the next 3-4 months. Netflix and other resources are just supplementary. Will see how this plan goes.
If I do struggle or get frustrated I will try your subscription especially once the senior stage is done. I like your UA-cam content, you are doing a good job. My concern is that on your site It shows the hours of video content for all the stages available is 34hrs and the senior stage is not done yet. You have good stories too which total 490 stories. The free samples are about an average 3mins each so it is 25 hours worth of stories. Total hours of content is probably about 60 hrs.
Looking at other learners sharing their process of learning French on various forums, most needed 500+ hours of consumable content to reach like a b1-b2 level.
To be fair your content is specifically focused on learning so maybe your 60+ hours of content translate to maybe hundreds of hours of normal videos. But I also feel the brain needs hundreds or thousands of hours of exposure to French content for it to become 2nd nature. For example, I can read the whole high-quality grammar book in a week but most of the stuff will not stick in my brain. So not just quality but I think the quantity of time spent exposure to French is very important too. It takes time for the brain to form the links, and memories during sleep.
When I was young I acquired Mandarin by just watching a lot of Chinese TV series, I wasn't even trying to learn the language I just liked watching Chinese shows, especially ancient and fantasy genres. Not sure how long it took but I eventually could understand my Chinese friends talking in Mandarin. I didn't think much about it since I was not interested in learning Mandarin or languages at that time. I hated learning languages when I was young.
So based on my experience, I do think Netflix will help in some way since now I am more motivated to learn.
