Thank you for providing a video on this adorable bag I prefer slings to backpack myself. This is definitely on my list of bags to make. The self adhesive interfacing seems a good option for fabric that cannot be ironed. I am not a fan of foam though. Just do not like the squishiness of it. Could you make the bag with medium weight interfacing?
Well, I used vinyl for the zipper overlay, d rings, and bottom as well as waxed canvas and Ottertex and boy was that a work out. Fun stuff! I impressed with the capacity of this small messenger and its just adorable. Thank you for the tutorial!

Could I do this with vinyl? Or just vinyl on the gussets & waterproof canvas ad the back panel, see the front panel onto the gusset last so I can squash the waterproof canvas down to attach? Or would if all be ok in vinyl? I just have so much pretty vinyl to use 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Jess! Y oh may have saved me from myself before I start this project. I am confused about piece G (gusset). The pattern says place on fold-what does that mean? I cut my fabric the exact size of the actual pattern but now I see that looks incomplete.
It means when cutting the pattern out of your fabric you fold your fabric and place the pattern piece on the fold when you’re cutting it out. This gives you a piece double the size of the pattern piece. If you just cut out the pattern piece that is only half the gusset. Hope this helps.😊
