Must Do Brisbane: Cycling Brisbane's River Loop! 🚲 Queensland Travel Vlog

In this vlog we discover beautiful Brisbane, by bike! Located on a river, many of Brisbane's bikepaths snake along the riverside and we took the River Loop trail on our day out. Starting in Woolloongabba, we cycle through South Bank and through to West End. In West End we stop for brunch at the Vegan Markets. Afterwards, we continue to Highgate Hill, Toowong and Milton before making it back towards South Bank.

Try going the opposite direction and crossing at the Indooroopilly bridge. Think it's a 35k loop from memory. Then if you are really up for a long ride, there's continuing on to Riverview park at the end of Jindalee stretch.. Lots of wild wallabies and other wild lifer as well as river views and drone opportunities. But it's about 70km so be warned! :) Alertatively there's the Gateway Bridge run in the opposite direction. Great views from there also. Love the videos!

Where do you rent you bike from?

We borrowed these bikes from our apartment building. But you can hire the City Cycles for $2 a day if you keep the rides under 30 mins for each section. Just Google “Brisbane City Cycle” and the registration will come up 👍🏼

I went to Brisbane City Cycle website trying to book, but they said they are permanently close since August 2021 :(

Oh no, what a shame!! Well I’m sure you can still hire bikes in the city. Either using the Lime app or Neuron. You can also hire electric scooters from them too
