Carter County Animal Shelter Director Expresses Region's Needs

- As our region deals with the devastation and loss caused by the week's storms and flooding, we need to keep our animals in mind as well. I spoke with Shannon Posada, Director of the Carter County/Elizabethton Animal Shelter to see what their needs are, how they're holding up, and what we can do to help our region's animals in need.

At the moment, the Unicoi County Animal Shelter is awaiting assistance and evaluation before it can re-open. A GoFundMe has been created to help them as they navigate the path to their recovery.
