I was a BB main for a while, but I've been becoming more of a DD main for a point you made in a Johnston vid. I love German BB's for getting in close and supporting dd's while they cap and blotting out the sun with secondaries, but if it's only you and a dd pushing up, you die fast, and it's super frustrating because you take an initiative and no one else does except but the dd who isn't going to give up his stealth, that means you have to play in the back and it's just boring. So I appreciate the little insights on how to be a better dd player.
Great little DD the Black. I think it holds its own easily when up tiered you just have to play a little less aggressive. It's available for coal still and if I'm not mistaken it's the highest priced, or at least top couple, coal ship in the armory now.

Black was the first coal ship I got and I have no regrets. It's a spicy little boat and can hold it's own even in randoms.
