0.47 kind of says it all. The NBA is all about stats, and that from a NBA player. I think this is simply why Jokic is killing everybody. He is not interested in personal stats, he is simply all about winning and he goes about it in the simplest way possible. You notice Russell’s previous couple of teams he did not do so well, as he was up against the resident ego and so in conflict with the franchise player. But look at the Nuggets, Russell is being resurrected simply beacause the franchise man is not bothered about stats, he is only interested in winning, so no ego clash. I do not know if this is fact or not, but I read the other day that something like 15% of all triple doubles ever scored in the NBA currently sit at the Nuggets.
He use to on stat pad his rebound. His assists and pts are stat padded in fact a stat was going around when he was in okc after KD left that okc was around 20 plus points better whenever russ played which is one of the highest on/ off numbers in nba history.

Game 5 of their series against Portland in JUST the 4th quarter he went 2-7 while PG was 2-3, he also had 3 turnovers including 1 in the final 2 minutes and missing the go ahead layup with 18 seconds left. Sure he has some games like game 3 where he’ll go 11-22 and score 30, but the rest of the series is him jacking when he shouldn’t. Game 2 he went 5-20. Game 4 he went 5-21. And game 5 he went 11-31 while Paul George was shooting 70% of 14-20. Westbrook has always wanted to be that guy but his not, and he’s cost his teams championships because of it. Statistics back up the fact that westbrook is objectively the biggest reason his team can’t win come playoff time.
Triple-doubles aren't easy, and not everyone can get them. But I must say Westbrook seemed to care about them more than any other player in NBA history and often literally went way out of his way to get them.
His teams won 80 something percent of the games that he got a triple double. He should care about it. The game plan was to let him get rebounds in okc so he could push the pace. Don’t blame someone for following the game plan.

“If Lebron is the goat he should fit with Russel Westbrook” what kind of logic is that😂 Westbrook is my favorite player of all time but it just doesn’t make sense because he is literally a mini Lebron. That trade was dumb. Russ needed his own team with solid shooters and rim runners. He needed a solid big but AD was always hurt.
Lebron turning the Lakers into a circus. Theres plenty of value in the 2nd round where guys like George Niang, Jalen Mcdaniels were drafted. Instead they wasted it on Bronny whos only playing in home G league games because he dont want to ride United or stay at the Marriott. At this point Lebron cares more about his own legacy than the career of his son. Bronny will be playing overseas or sitting at home when Lebron retires.
@@thavalidj114there is great logic in that. Russ is built to be a point guard and played that way his entire career and was successful with it. There’s a reason the lakers started making him come off the bench. Cause even with lebron and AD on his team, he was averaging about the same amount of shots. He is THE reason he will never be a champion. He’s had the pieces around him and his pride won’t let him not try to be that guy down the stretch.
@@Thorsten21 "Now that we got KD, I can say it: They were the best team last year in the league in the playoffs," Iguodala said of OKC. "They were better than us. They were better than Cleveland. They were the best team in the playoffs. They should've won a championship." -Andre Iguodala.
@@leonyses2887 yes…I know….
I already said iggy said they were better and should have beat us. What I am saying never happened is your claim that he also said they lost because Westbrook deferred to Durant. He never said anything close to even inferring that and you’re intentionally misrepresenting what he actually said to give some validity to your statement. Statistics back up the fact that westbrook is objectively the biggest reason his team can’t win come playoff time.
Triple-doubles aren't easy, and not everyone can get them. But I must say Westbrook seemed to care about them more than any other player in NBA history and often literally went way out of his way to get them.
That's all I need people to admit.
Bra the center and power forwards on his own team was letting him get rebounds off the free throws🥱he was obviously padding his stats
His teams won 80 something percent of the games that he got a triple double. He should care about it. The game plan was to let him get rebounds in okc so he could push the pace. Don’t blame someone for following the game plan.
NBA is totally cool with it if it gets more eyes on games.
russ was butt for the Lakers overall it’s okay
lebron can’t have another ball dominant guard with him
russ wasn’t a catch and shoot player
if lebron is the goat
he should have been the 1 adjusting 2 russ to get him comfortable instead of tryin 2 change russ game when all he’s done is have the ball in his hand
lakers made him the scapegoat and i lost my love 4 them
“If Lebron is the goat he should fit with Russel Westbrook” what kind of logic is that😂 Westbrook is my favorite player of all time but it just doesn’t make sense because he is literally a mini Lebron.
Bronny will be playing overseas or sitting at home when Lebron retires.
lebron gave up on basketball after the bubble ring 😂 he just playing for records now
@@thavalidj114there is great logic in that. Russ is built to be a point guard and played that way his entire career and was successful with it. Also, when Russ played that way with Durant it worked fantastically. If Lebron played like that it could have worked. But Lebron learned nothing from d wade.
💯
wouldn’t say he’s underrated he just had a major fall from grace
Kyrie is better than Westbrook who else agrees with this?
No
In 2024!? Of course
their both great in their own way
appreciate the greatness
Kyrie has always been a 2nd option. Can’t compare. Kyrie isn’t a top 5-7 all time PG like Russ is.
Kyrie has no mvp
The most overrated superstar, has negative win shares for Denver.
Westbrooke had his time. Underrated not too sure. Overrated for sure. Way too many pointless 3s.
Underrated in jokic. Already at 136 triples doubs
But y’all knock Ben Simmons for not attempting a 3
You just a hater plain and simple
@stylescasino1006 Ben's still not doing anything bro.
That man's jus collecting checks n relaxing
Actually 136 regular season triple doubles
Al Hartford 😂😂😂 get outta there what u doing 😂😂
