It was no disgrace boys (yet) - we've had a huge run of hard games and we were always going to drop one. It's how quickly we bounce back now is the big test. Thanks Vossy, it stood out like dogs balls that our boys needed to tighten up one on one, and not give gws the easy takeaways, and open space they created,and we didn't even attempt that to pressure them at stoppages,and generally everywhere around the ground.What happened to pressure and defend first,and then attack on the back of that. If they want to be grand final contenders ,and win it, they'd better get that right or it'll be a repeat of what happened last year against Brisbane in the preliminary, if we get there.

Two goals defeat didn't change the Blues position in the top four. It meant more the winners who needed a win to stay in touch with the eight.

I think that the selectors made a mistake dropping Hewitt. The Blues needed just a little bit more grunt that he provides. And he hasn't been out of form. I think they opted for some speed with putting Cottrel back in. He possibly needed a run in the VFL first.
