Man, your "How-To" vids keep helping me out in ways I didn't expect.. Rolled my 1000 down a hill yesterday, tore the pod apart, had to check in to see what it was supposed to look like.. Thanks!
I've read there were no mid issues and the fans. My suzuki has a rubber boot over it anyways so I may have to run without that for air flow, who knows. I will be running a quad boss 13.5 hi lux bar and shortly a 9 inch auto drive bar. It will put off good light but all led lights around would be better. I at least wanted one led bulb for my pod light.
Just need to adjust them a little, they don’t look completely leveled. The right low beam is a little lower than the left low beam. They look scattered compared to the oem.
The How-To Guy I ended up emailing the company. They assured me they wouldn’t fall out. Went on a ride last weekend and they did fine. Now I just gotta Velcro them hanging parts down
So, yes and no! Same bulb yes, but you will adjust the 2 lights (low) to shoot low to the ground and the high beam (single bulb) adjust to shoot a little higher. It's very hard showing the light difference on video, but driving at night the high beam (single top bulb) really helps out.
Texas Sporting Clays The reason it looks the same is because the camera is using an automatic exposure setting so it is adjusting the amount of light you see.
WOW!! So glad I found your UA-cam channel! I'm picking up my new 2018 Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 next Thursday and wanted new LED lights! You mentioned that the 886 was low beam and the 889 was high beam. Are they in the same package? Thanks! Great video and super informative! Happy Fathers Day too
So, we have ran this in the mud pretty good, and haven't had any problems. ua-cam.com/video/J16QPLASsZI/v-deo.html&t= We also spray SC1 silicone spray from amazon all over the ATV and that helps also.
I was wondering the exact same. I'm getting a 2nd light bar where I already have a small one shortly to triple the output from that location and a 13.5 inch quad boss. If I get the led headlight bulbs I can point my quad boss light further out and pretty much be able to see everything. I can already see pretty good for what I do but more light is better. A friend found a 9 inch dual row bar on clearance for $10 so I'm snatching that. I have a 2019 king quad so 8 need 3 bulbs.
Don’t waste your money 💰. These lights are super bright as you can see BUT they do not project the light very far at all. I bought them the stock lights are better. If you want LED headlights buy the 2020 stock LEDs. (299.00 each plus a 200.00 custom wire harness) or buy aftermarket LED head lights around 109-150 each. I did use cone in my pod
I haven't had a problem yet, but one of my lights flickered the first night, but hasn't done it since. As far as the bin, I will Dremel it back if needed, but I don't think so!
Top Shelf! Excellent lighting! No dark, shady images that leave a person guessing. Well Done!

Thank you for putting the link I just order some for my 570

yeah, i played with them a lil after installing. I wish Polaris made undated headlights like the CAN-AM.
Wow best tuto I ever seen keep it up
great video....i just bought a trailblazer 250, can i put these bulbs in my polaris ???
jay unitedwestand that’s what i’m wondering
Just bought these. Love the light but mine didn’t snap into place. Kinda worried they will come out
What model do you have the same one? Thats weird. I've had one fall out when I was blasting through the woods and all, but no problems.
The How-To Guy yup same same one 2018 sportsman xp
The How-To Guy same bulbs as well, different box but same part number.
@@drunkgamin1562 that's weird! Did you ever find a set that fits. If you want to get mad go look at the new 1000XP wit Built in LEDs, LOL!!!

Nice look...but correct me if I'm wrong (I know how things can look dif. on video) but, the Hi/lo look the same.

Wouldn't those bulbs be to hot for the housing. I see other buksb on there with no ballast. Smaller in length.
I believe I got those and they would not fit inside the original housing to lock in place
Nice any problems since installing also are you getting the 3rd back led I’m putting mine in tomorrow
No problems at all. The 3rd back light is installed video will be uploaded tonight!
The How-To Guy nice did my back light yesterday looks good
Send pic....will upload video shortly!
Have you figured out how to keep all three lights on at the same time? Apparently there is a kit
I never run the single light because I always have a gun or a tool blocking it, BUT...I just install a Rough Country light bar on it. Video to come.
Great video! I have an 850 and I’ve been wanting to install LED’s. Did they actually make a big difference at night bro?
They make a Hell of a difference. I will post a night video for you. Give me about a week or so!
The How-To Guy thanks, please do!
Night video is hard, still working on a really good one.
The How-To Guy no worries!
Do you think the LED lights project as far as the halogen ones?
somebody knows which headlight bulb does the 2020 Brute Force uses? 9007 , 9003 ? I need to switch to LED
You know your tires ae going to shoot up mud into those fans
Never had a problem, still running strong!!!
Great video!!

Same bulb works for both...so I bought 2 packs. I have one spare!!!
Happy Fathers Day!!!
Same bulb for both, sorry for the late reply
are thoose led lights working on sportsman 2020??
ville K yea but read my comment above. They just don’t project the light.
What's going to happen when those fans get full of mud and dirt. It's going to wreck those lights

The bin touch going to be a problem you think?

Nope 3 months later, not an issue at all!!!

Radracing Motorcycle 880/881
Thank you!
will this work on a 2020?
Sorry, I don't know!
Or just pull the display out and reach straight in.
could have just ordered bulbs without the controllers and avoided having all the garbage dangling down there
