How are y'all going to count foul hooked fish as a catch..... Literally so disappointed in y'all for calling that back hooked fish as a point. Idk if the east coast is different but out here on the west Coast that is/was a illegal catch and would not be counted in tournaments nor would it be legal to keep if it was of size..... If it's not in/on the mouth it's not a legal catch

The small lures with one hook actually work really well.
Man, I have SO many different lures and baits that I have gotten from having the Mystery Tackle Box for two years and the 6th Sense Bag for a year and a half or so. I enjoyed the 6th Sense Bag over the MTB because I don't want a bag of hooks and random tackle, but I'm not going to say anything negative about Karl's MTB because they provide tackle for target species and it was very helpful. However, I bought a cheap set of Chinese lures off of eBay that were like $20 for 110 different diving and non-diving lures. My wife caught a really nice northern pike on a 6th Sense bait out of the Ohio River last month. It was a long triple treble hook swimbait. However, those cheap lures aren't entirely incapable of catching big fish. I have caught some fairly big smallmouth on them in the past.
