Ya know since Kubo is directly involved in this anime and supervising most of it. You can’t really call this an “anime only/exclusive/filler” fight. This is now THE canon for TYBW. Kubo gets to go back and change what he didn’t like, expand on what he originally wanted, and get to write the story he always intended without having editors, staff, and studios breathing down his neck.

Shikai Ichigo? Ichigo wasn't even trying to harm Uryuu in their whole fight let alone kill him, unlike Renji who didn't mind beating his ass. I dont know if there will be round 2 of Ichigo vs Uryuu, but if that happens, we will see.
