I love this set. The second one I purchased as a kid. I paid $11.99 from Renata Gelasso, and spent days and days going through these great cards. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
I enjoyed building the 1978 set but if I could find one cheap, I would grab it. I have already built the sets I can afford to buy complete. Even with the few dings on these, still a good buy.
Always loved the 78 and 79 sets. Probably because my dad bought me both the complete sets for $20 each when I was 10 years old. They were the start of me collecting ❤.
This is my favorite baseball card set of all time!!! I started building this set last year! I probably paid less than $100 for the entire set because someone gave me about a quarter of the cards for free!! Now I’m working on getting the entire set signed and I am at 160 ish autos so far!
Right on dude. I’ve been building 1973-1979 Topps baseball sets. Got all the best cards except the Mike Schmidt that card has eluded me for decades lol. Maybe this year I can find a nice raw mid grade or a PSA 3 or 4 if the price is right.

The '78 set is full of great cards. You tend to forget about so many of them until you see a video like this that features them all together. Nice!
A classic set, 78 Topps was the first wax I busted, a lot of memories!
