From what I understand this was their first major concert in the states and they were really concerned that nobody would show up at their concert since at Coachella you get to choose which artist you go to at that time and it seems that everybody chose to go see Blackpink that's why they we're Headliners when they were out there the next time.
Coachella is such a remarkable and historical event for Global Kpop expansion into western society and cementing through growth BlackPinks fame and lore. One of my favorite things was the attention Rosie received. Just go back and only watch her hair, its crazy and wild and it was windy. Everyone wanted to know who the wild haired blond girl was. Best performances from Coachella was the "Typa Girl" feather dance choreography, and maybe Pretty Savage chair dance.
You should check out their 2923 Coachella performances they’re on another level I love there live stage performances with the live band totally amazing 😻
Coachella takes place in Indio, California usually on the 2nd and 3rd weekends of April. Personally I could've done without the dancers too, found them distracting at times, but since Blackpink were 1 of the 3 main headliners last year, they decided to go all out. Which in the end, ultimately paid off given that they were named the best performers of the festival.
Agree with the last comment. IF you are buying just one Blackpink concert DVD. The Tokyo Dome performances were STELLER!!! It was at a point in their tour when they were blowing into each town as CONQUERING HEROES. It was a moment that you can FEEL where EVERYTHING is clicking into place. It's maybe their most awesome concerts EVER!!. At coachella, ANOTHER STELLER performance, they're dropping into an enormous crowd that mostly has not seen them before. But the word was OUT that they were basically the most awesome group that ever existed. So everyone wanted to see them. AND THEY ARE ON POINT here!! They made headlines in newspapers around the world after this performance. Who are they? where did they come from? and,... who is the girl with the ponytail???They are all kinds of OUTSTANDING here. And keep in mind that crowd is rolling back into the horizon, they're fighting a terrible hot western wind hitting the stage, Jisoo is playing hurt. And these girls are still wondering if a new crowd is going to "like" their songs??? ARE YOU KIDDING???? There is no way to express how OUTRAGEOUSLY successful this one appearance was.

@@RapItUp41 Blackpink has the highest number of stage programmes per year all over the world. Shedule is insane and the members often get tired & sick due to superhumanly heavy work load. Not only jisoo but all others used to get sick at times. This is why their all live shows are not equally good. Some are very very lethargic and colorless.

Since this is fresh on your mind you really should go react to their version of this same song that is completely different in their Tokyo Dome Encore Remix version (sold out, 55,000, where all the raps are in English with different meaning). Which is many Blink's favorite live performance of Blackpink.

yeah, Babymonster girls are like 15 and 16 which is crazy. They all looked 19 or older to me in that video I reacted to of them. I of course will never comment on them like that, nor do I want to obviously, knowing how young they are.
