Dimash is so talented that he allows himself to subvert for the sake of fun! In the MV of this song, he makes a parody of action movies, like 007: We have a mafia, a girl hostage to bandits, beautiful women, fights, car escape... But, the most important is the transgression of styles. There is no definite one: Now it's R&B, it's Funk, Bel Canto, Rap… All in the same song! A tribute to Dimash's idols: Michael Jackson, Jack Chan, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones… Freed from the ties of a record label, Dimash does what he likes with the enormous talent he has!

This MV was so much fun, you never know what Dimash is going to do next and when he composes for himself it's usually more in the pop/rock genre. He composes what he finds fun to sing not what shows off his vocal range. He also raps in Screaming, not the MV, but the Idol Hits version. Idol Hits is a Chinese TV show where singers go on live to sing their latest chart hit. I think you would also enjoy Fly Away and Give Me Your Love, two more pop or EDM inspired Dimash songs.

The three words at the beginning, oversimplified, are basically Greek for Heaven, Hell and Earth. Kit is a woman Ren met during treatment in Canada. He found out she sang after the fact and they collaborated quite a bit. She was also the voice on Money Game and designed his new album's logo, Johnson the rabbit. This is the title track for his next album. Ren says it's one of only three rap songs on the album. Ren relapsed, yeah. He had a medical emergency while trying to film a video for Vincent's Tale. He had to abandon the shoot and eat the financial loss. He went back to Canada to resume treatment, but he couldn't handle the side effects and had to quit. Said it got almost as bad as his worst and also triggered his ptsd. He basically spent the past two months in bed, but now he's back in Brighton, exploring alternative methods for maintaining while looking for new treatment possibilities. In the short term he's doing a bit better but in the long term everything is up in the air. He did do a Twitch Livestream for this drop and hung around talking to us for almost 4 hours. Again, oversimplifying - This song is inside his head. It starts as another glimpse into his pain and mental struggles, but ends with him leaving Sick Boi behind and moving into his next chapter with Slaughterhouse. He's said every time he falls sick he has to reincarnate to come back stronger. Most recently Ren said he currently leans toward spirituality but doesn't align with an organized religion. He loves religious iconography, though, and has studied many religions extensively.

Preach it! I'm an old white woman who will defend good rap which can also also have super profound lyrics. Toupac back in the day and Ren today. In fact, rappers are some of the best reactors to RUSH lyrics because they know good bars when they hear them. The old farts need to open their minds. (IMO)

Neil Peart, the drummer, died in January of 2020 of brain cancer. RUSH didn't get much airplay at all because they refused to stifle their creativity to write a top 40 hit. Their epic song 2112 is all about their war with the music industry (and winning).

RUSH definitely has "bars." As a RUSH fan, I love it when reactors connect with the words - because I think Neil Peart is the GOAT when it comes to lyrics. When you respond with "ooo" to the lyrics, it makes me wonder what you are thinking. So, if some bars hit for you, pause and share your thoughts - riff spontaneously. We've heard these songs probably more than 100 times. If you don't get it "right" on the first listen, that's okay. I know I rarely got it right on the first listen (that's just how sophisticated the lyrics are). Nice reaction!

Pausing is definitely allowed. Just not during guitar solos. People who want to watch it uninterrupted can watch the original video. Do your channel the way that works best for you.

The song (and video) were recorded at Le Studio, a secluded, full-featured recording studio in Quebec that is sadly no longer there.

the caracter found xanadu, achieved immortality, then got bored of it and had no other choice to wait for the end of the world... the meaning of the red star wiil be found in the 2112 song... a 21 minute masterpiece.. if you review it I suggest the comic book version if you want to keep track of the story being told
