303 Scapegoat Hill and Huddersfield (Full Return Trip) Diversion Special* Optare Solo CabCam

- The 303 is a lovely country run, a short trip but nevertheless absolutely beautiful views when you're driving down scapegoat hill. This video is a little different as on the way up we encounter a diversion from where one of our buses was sunken into the road by a water main failure; and then to top it off on the way back no-one told that milnsbridge is shut so I had to go the 301 Golcar way back to paddock then the 356 Longwood route back to town. Either way this was a a long diversion and after 4 round trips I was very late!

Hi first I love your channel keep up the good work mate ,I'm from and live in hudds myself although I only use first as tiger don't got to linthwaite im always looking out for you and today I finally did on 233 in hudds (I was on a 372) if i ever see you about I'll give you a wave .you bus & train drivers have and are doing a amazing job through this. take care buddy :)

YT does not run 301 anymore and it is now ran by first and streamline
Good video! Can I just say something from a passenger perspective? Solos are cool - comfy, nice ride and bags of legroom.
I just notice South Yorkshire bus stop sign you don,t see many of West Yorkshire.

Na their not they have that gear box that is cool
As a driver of 15 years, the Optare Solos have proven to be good buses. Fairly reliable (if fitted with 4.2l Mercedes engine) and smooth to drive.
I really want 901 to be back with Yorkshire Tiger so you can do a cab drive.
Fabulous run and very scenic too! By heck, there's often streets where it's a really tight squeeze through eh?

It was his but the 304 which turns off.
It was the 303 that sunk into the hole. Not the 304 :)

i feel sorry sitting in the cab of that rubbish solo
optares are horrible machines, theyre fast, thats about it, the brakes take so much force to use, being on one of these all day will give you a stiff leg, even worse when you go from an optare to a low liner and slam the brakes because you can press the brakes with a toe on those
