Fun fact, Matt Conaway is one of the directors of the "All-American" marching band at Purdue University, along with Ishbah Cox. So if you want to play these arrangements before they are even published you know where to look.

This song holds a special place in my heart, I found it not long after my brother died of heart failure and the song has stuck with me ever since
Edit: it's also pretty ironic that the trombones get like half of the melody in this, because I play trombone as well
i just had my last concert and after listening to it it reminded it to me and i almost cried of how good this is i wish i could witness it or play it myself i play trumpet

Right after my uncle passed away I discovered this song,I fell in love with it it's been on my top 3 songs for the past 6 years it reminds me of him
I cannot describe in words the sheer level of emotion this piece brings to me. It is truly one of the best marching band covers of all time. Matt conaway may just be the best composer of all time.
Wish they can play this when we're at a football stadium in honor of our fallen soldiers :(

BingoGringo I know that Marimba or other percussion instruments you wouldn't expect are used as a pit in field marching. But the Marimba just sounds really out of place. Sort of like what do we do here? Let's just toss some random marimba in.

Anyone else that plays a low brass freak out when you get notes higher than High C sharp. Then tries to snatch a baritone part.

Keep up with trombone, colleges look for low brass and you could get a scholarship

Trumpets don’t usually mean to overpower: especially for me, the only way to produce an in tune note is to be on the higher side of the dynamic scale. Some really good players in our band can play quiet but as a freshman who hasn’t been doing it too long, I find dynamics an easy way to be in tune with good tone.

What programme do you use? I use musescore but I don't like some of the sounds.
These aren't synthesizers, I believe theyre real people playing.

im looking at this video, and i see baritone but it is in bass clef, if i were to purchase this would i be able to get a treble clef peice?
