I had peace that night when I finally went to bed. my dad passed the following morning I know he's in heaven , I cry everytime I listen to this song . rest in peace my daddy I love you so much and I glad I told and showed you many times. till we meet again .

This song was introduced to Jimmy Swaggart in 1983 by the late Kokkie Lock who in 1985 became the Johannesburg director of the Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in South Africa. The song was written by a South African who was in the group Vinesong. Jimmy took it and made it what is today. The Crusade at Ellis Park in 83 was instrumental in this song later becoming what is today. R.I.P brother Kokkie.
