Thank you for having me on your episode SIfu, always glad to share what I can with the community. Also it’s always great to hear again the importance weapons play in our hand to hand combat. It’s about that Village Life
I loved learning why training with combat steel weapons is so important. Thank you for breaking it down the way you did. And yeah, the SOV is a great Kung Fu brother to everyone at The Village. 💯
Mr. Gates, have you been to China? My concern is the racism that I read about against my fellow Africans living and studying over there within the past five years. Me being African American, I don't want to go where I am not welcomed.
Ive gone 4 times sense 2005 and each time I’ve been there i have had an amazing time personally. I’m sure racism is there like it’s everywhere. I’ve just never encountered it, maybe it’s because i don’t speak Chinese lol.

My own sifu used to call the watered down Tai Chi "Tofu Tai Chi." LOL
Do you use Miao Dao swords?
We don’t use the Miao Dao however its an amazing sword.
@@gusgates7401 One of my old sifus was using one on an old video. I would like to learn it one day.
