Loved the Lions response when then the game was 28-20 and then Jamo hits them with a 70 yarder to the house. With a side step! They never got rattled. The NFC is a lot better this year and they showed poise

Great point! Pass interference calls are tough, but those can be fixed more easily than a CB not being able to stay with the receiver and the receivers torching us for 400 yards every game
Football favors the offense if they have a competent QB, teams are just going to score points sometimes. It's more about consistency, physicality and making plays when you need to. Anyone with one good eye and a brain can see this D has a whole new look. The way the Hawks were playing, last years D woulda gave up 40+ too again and we may have lost. Our D is a massive part of why we were competitive in the first 3 games and they still showed up in game 4 too imo; when you're lighting a team up on offense and scoring fast like we did your defense is out there on the field a lot and you're giving the other team a lot of opportunities, too. Also, fun fact: Hutch is #1 in sacks, Branch is tied for #1 in Pass deflections and Kerby Joseph is 2nd in INTs and if Anzalone hadn't missed a game he'd most def be nearer the top of the league in tackles, too.
Honestly, great job on the offense keeping us ahead. It did feel like the seagulls got more calls against us, but that's the nfl. Sometimes, they are in our favor, and sometimes they aren't. Let's just continue to try and clean up the penalties on both sides and go into jerrys world and win another tough match-up!

I felt that CD had a target on his back this game. He hasn't played to full potential so far this year, but honestly I think he play his butt off this game. Should be an intresting year for him. I think once he gets a INT or a pick 6 uunder his belt. He's going to light up.
Definitely need Branch and Iffy back especially for their tackling. Joseph is good at ball hawking but dude took so many bad angles while trying to locate the ball carrier. Anzilone surprisingly missed a few tackles himself.
We made the conference championship last tour with the same offense. Our defense is much improved as far as talent from last year. It’s gonna come down to making the right play at the right time. I’m confident we can make it to a consecutive conference championship this year. But one game at a time. Early bye week to get our injured guys back and healthy. On to Dallas. And Dallas better bring their guys ready to play. Go Lions.
Yep. We could still get hit with some devastating injuries. Still have a long season in front of us and I think we are just a bit thin at WR position so we really can't afford to lose anyone to a season ending injury. Fingers crossed that we don't lose any more of our marquee players and I think we will have a real legitimate shot at not just making it to the first Super Bowl in franchise history but winning the whole dang thing!!!! Regarding the Refs.... Let's hope that they don't pull the same 💩 shenanigans during the Dallas game that they pulled last year! Enough of the NFL'S blatant bias!
Another thing that should be mentioned is the following stats, 3 sacks, 5 tfl, 9 passed defensed and 9 qb hits. those are not numbers of a 'bad defense'

No, that offensive of pass interference call was a great call. Not just because it helped the Lions, but that dude was down field blocking before the ball thrown.

Lions defense only will be better and stronger. They were on the field most of the game because of the quick scoring of the offensive team. 😅
PI calls are frustrating, not sure if a edge rusher opposite of hutch would have made a significant difference, seamed Gino was successful in reading our defense. It all comes down to Detroit making the plays at leas enough to edge out the win.

@@jamesalan1476I have supported Jamo from day one but I too feel like hes always just a lil bit extra. Even against the Rams he rode that pony for about 15 seconds. Hes going to be our number one receiver next year, I hope he learns to act like he's been there before by the end of the season
It always feels close in the 3rd quarter with the Lions. I'm a 50 year fan and hate to say it but I still watch to the end expecting some kind of dumpster fire finish.

Our defense was soft. Like they were playing flag football. Wrap up when you tackle. Too much arm tackling. Offense won’t this game. Need Branch back on defense

Who are the complainers stop it our defense did exactly what they needed to do we were complaining about the explosive plays no explosive plays we're made in Monday night's game instead we made a few big plays defensively starting with the force fumble by Captain Jack Campbell who by the way was filling in for one of our starting linebackers, what about the three sacks and Kirby Joseph interception who by the way I believe has a interception in virtually every game we played so far this season.
Look Geno Smith put up those numbers passing because he was playing catch up chasing after Jared Goff and his high-powered offense he did what any good quarterback should have done. When they're being beat by a better team
I mean we were up two touchdowns why because of the defense that so many people are down on took the ball from the Seattle Seahawks offense and gave it back to Jared Goff so that he can put us up two touchdowns.

Yes Tyrion (Sub-Zero) Arnold penalties does hurt us but you can believe that the Lions are going to fix that problem we do have one of the best defensive coaches in the league in Aaron Glenn.
So don't worry the defense is fine when our starters get healthy it'll be back to business as usual keeping teams under 20 points.
NFL refs are the worst of the lot. Calls that shouldn’t be. Calls that aren’t made. Seems it’s almost orchestrated. Not just this game , but especially prime time games. I’ll always be suspicious of the NFL.
This was NOT a trouncing. Stop being a total Lions slappee and speak facts. The Seahawks pushed our defense hard and Terrion Arnold was exposed. He needs to improve because his penalties could have been very costly if the Lions offense wasn't on fire. Kudos to the offense. They carried the day.

If they don’t fix the defense, season will end quickly. Gave up 500 yards! Too many holding and DPI penalties on rookie bc that hasn’t been coached. AG doesn’t know how to adjust, both in this game and rams.
Literally was the first game the defense played that terrible bro. They will be alright. Branch wasn’t out there. Defense will only get better. We needed the offense to show what they did last night. 💯
Scoring fast and penalties kept the defense on the field too long. Not to mention Geno played lights out also!

The Lions did not destroy the Seahawks. It was a back and forth match that, like was said, had a few game changing mistakes that don't happen often. I also feel like the big advantage swap to the Lions, was the fact that 5 different Dline Starters were out with injuries so the Hawks couldn't play the defense at its finest. Very good video though

They are overrated. Who have they played? Seahawks is average, not great. Lost to Bucs. Won at Cardinals. Lions will have problems facing teams like Packers, Vikings, even commanders, Texans, Ravens, and Bills and Chief. I'll take Vikings, Bills, Packers, and Chiefs over the Lions any day.
