    Yay!! Cheese!!!
And of course, at 1:31:43, Monarch mispronounces "Gouda"...
SINCE WHEN IS "ou" HAVE THE SAME PRONUNCIATION AS "oo" OR "u" IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE?! 😠
I dun care about "G" sound, oir "g" sound is extremely difficult to pronounce for people oitside of my country. But the "ou", it literally has the same pronunciation as "ou" in "ouch"... It's even the same letters. How can you guys pronounce it wrong?! 😣
It really~ bugs me so much (especially as... Fun fact: Gouda cheese is a world legacy cheese and is ONLY allowed to be made in Gouda in the Netherlands. Nowhere else. It's similar to Champagne, as Champagne is only allowed to be made in Champagne, in France.)
I know it's "Just a cheese," but it's also a National heritage from my country and the name of the only city in the world that is allowed to make it. We take pride in it (not everyone, but a lot of us do), and it's just so annoying when people mispronounce it every single time... 😔 Heck, even famous chefs do it...

Imma keep it real with you, ou has always been said that way in the UK and no matter how hard you try to change people to say Gouda with an Ow sound they ain't gonna, too much thinking involved

I am sorry to tell you but it straight up is not a world heritage cheese only produced in Gouda, we have locally produced gouda cheese all around the US. Wikipedia even says "The name is used today as a general term for numerous similar cheeses produced in the traditional Dutch manner." The EU has regulations on cheeses being sold as "Boerenkaas", "Noord-Hollandse Gouda", and "Gouda Holland" however, also per the wikipedia page, though those regulations only specify that the cheese has to be produced in the Netherlands, not in Gouda. Also, the cheese wasn't even named for being produced in Gouda, just traded there, so... idk.
As per pronunciation... sorry about that, happens though. I'll try to correct myself going forward. English is a very inconsistently pronounced language.
