Dude! Just discovered this channel! I love IraqVeteran8888 and wondered often about your Fender hat. I am a musician too and I am very pro 2A. Love learning about guns and guitars. They are quite similar aren’t they in the way you hold them. There are obvious differences but any guitar player/gun enthusiasts will notice a similarity that I seem to be having a hard time describing. Hope you put out a new video on here soon!
It seems to me that guitar players and gun owners both tend to be gear-obsessive and really into the minutia of their respective crafts
I use Dunlop MXR Echoplex delay love it...the puss sounds good
I did the mix knob mod to mine and it's now an incredible delay pedal. It's basically everything I want from a delay and it's fairly cheap too. The mix knob mod is key though, makes it way more usable. It's only one little cap that needs to be taken out.
Very overlooked pedal, but I think it's because of the way the mix knob is set from the factory....
I was originally looking at some Chase Bliss pedals that are cool, but got this instead because it's really good and mostly covers the same ground and sounds. Especially in the chase mode if you want some of the blippety bloppety sounds.
I have this pedal and am interested in getting this mod. how did you go about it?

I contacted Dunlop customer service. They can do the mod for you, but I didn't want to send it across the world since I live in Denmark.
But it's a very simple mod.
The tech wrote this in the mail I got from them:
"That being said, if you have soldering experience or if you know any technicians that would be able to perform the modification for you it is fairly simple. All that is required for the mod is to remove the R79 resister from the main PC Board. If you remover the feet and back plate from the pedal, R79 is located on the top left side of the board just below the Way Huge logo"
It really is just one tiny resister that needs to be removed. Very simple mod that opens up the mix knob.

I love mine- however I have issues with the mix knob going from zero to WAYY too much with no between. Apparently Analogman does a mod on them that helps reduce this issue by switching the pots from linear to audio or vice versa(I’m not sure which it is 😂)

I just now found this sister channel to the IV88 gun channels; guitar and guns, two of my favorite things in the world :) also, y'know what? I had a feeling that Eric was a guitar guy too. Idky, just had a guy feeling (maybe bc I am?) We're both OIF vets, gun guys, and guitar guys; maybe it's that thing where they say you can pick out your own?
What’s the story with the DS-1 with the Flint knobs in the top left corner? Haha
Excellent playing but I wish you would have show cased how much longer it can go with tap tempo than it can on the knob.
With all that gear and instruments, might you attemp to reconstruct the sounds of past songs.
For instance Alabama train by the that Louisiana Red geezer.
It is some sort of tremelo effect build into an amp maybe.
Eric, I just followed the link from your gun channel. It's so strange to see you playing and knowledgeable about guitars and gear as well as guns. I love both myself. Not as good as you though.
