Thanks for this demo, I watched a few and this was easily the best one. I really need to get one of these pedals because I'm into that authentic analog delay sound but still like having modern features like the trails mode and tap tempo. The gain and tone controls seem to be an amazing feature as well!
I understand what you mean now. TBH I think most "analog" delay pedals have a comparable signature because of the type of processors (bucket brigades) they use. To me the Supa-Puss, Panther, Carbon Copy, Faux Tape Echo share a common signature. It's the features that make the difference. Finding the right mix of dry and wet is what could improve the openness, tone control helps somewhat too. Hope this helps?
hey harry i really enjoy your playing/demoing! Hey i had a question, from playing the supa puss and the jhs panther, does the panther stand out and sound more open? I ask this because jhs says the panther is based off of the aqua puss and i dont like either the aqua or the supa puss because they sound flat and not open. Thanks
Open meaning it sounds louder and more 3d. (it doesnt sound flat). Like a mastered track compared to an unmastered track, the track that's mastered sounds full and louder while a basic mp3 is compressed and sounds muffled. I guess to better say maybe does it have more headroom? If this doesnt make sense its fine haha thanks for replying

Can you tap the tempo prior to engaging the delay? Or can you only tap a tempo when the delay is engaged?

in your opinion, how comparable is this to the JHS panther cub? Minus the fact that there is no effects loop?
Unfortunately there is no comparison available. Please try the desired pedals in our shop, or a shop near you to compare them.
