- We are based in a beautiful valley in Nainital, India in a village and are privileged to have 24x7 access to unpolluted fresh air and spring water. The village is a part of the acclaimed Naina Devi Bird Conservation Zone with over 350 bird species to be spotted.
At Geeli Mitti Farms, we are involved in and specialize in working towards ecological consciousness and sustainability including training and facilitating the move towards natural buildings, waste management, Permaculture design, organic farming and alternative bio-degradable non-toxic products. We also work with urban and rural communities towards skill development and environment enhancement.

You were the last piece of puzzle Shagun di, to convince me that mud house is the way to go. With some background in ecological sciences and sustainable infra from IISc bangalore, I never thought this is how all that curiosity and knowledge will come together to fruition. I have just seen on You Tube about Geeli Mitti .The name itself is very touching for me. I am very mush inspired by your courage. I want to be a part of this initiative. I have a piece of land in village .I think it will be a small contribution to our mother land, if I will be able to spared your massage ..we are wishing for your success for grate cause.

self sustainability will be the norm. if you grow your own food... that is abundance, that is truly riches. nobody can eat paper money!! we have been living off grid in a city in South Africa, unfortunately we have dolomite ground otherwise I would happily build myself a mud house. thank you for keeping me dreaming. A tomato today 31 march 2021 costs R10. That is astronomically expensive!! We are going into winter soon so I wll grow my tomatoes inside my house.
