I had a 89 Crown Victoria LX sedan a 89 Coutry Square LX and to top it off a 1991 Crown Vic Police car with the 351 5.8L that was used in the Connecticut D.A office. No light bar no markings beautiful all carpet interior. How I wish I still had that set.
These were loved by the elderly so I don't doubt the original owner was an elderly person who is probably not with us today. The colour is drop dead gorgeous and it deserves to have the original radio which I bet sounded really good in its day. The wheels are very Lincoln - like and add to the car's elegance. Better to keep it low mileage like it is now. These come with a non-HO 5.0 V8 in them. Nice car.
@tommystoys242 Were you a taxi driver? I was, we had the next gen Crown Vics. We got them used but they always gave me one of the nicest cars because I worked about 80 hrs a week. Had to share the car with a night driver so on my last stint as a driver for 8 yrs I had 15 different cars over the yrs 😂
@@davidkastin4240 no, but I did buy them for business and used them for YEARS along with Marquis...just cannot say enough how great they were for the money
About 10 years ago I owned a mint 1989 LTD Crown Victoria w/42,000 miles bought from original elderly owner. Only paid $5,000 for it as the elderly gentleman couldn't drive anymore. Lost his legs to diabetes. Car was gorgeous. Kept and drove it for about a year or so before selling for a small profit. Mistake! Wasn't the first in my life.
What a beauty! Worked for Hertz in the late 80's.. early 90's. This car was a very popular vehicle to rent. Closest ride to a Lincoln Town Car... Customers loved this car and not having to pay Lincoln rates!

They are definitely great cars I own a 1987 crown Vic LX that I purchased off a retired law enforcement individual he purchased the vehicle brand new because he loved being on patrol with his patrol car which was an 87 crown Vic police car so he purchased this one. There is currently 36,000 original miles this vehicle is stored in the winter so it's never been out in salt and I do enjoy driving it during the summer months. It has factory dual exhaust and also a 355 posi rear end. Everything works ice Cold Air it is a nice cruiser.🇺🇲🏁🏁🏁😎🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
It had 8000 when Anthony owned it. I wish I had the money to buy it then. I had the exact car. The color is Alabaster . I loved that car. I'm 65 and gave up driving in 2009 and sold it.
Spectacular example of a Crown Victoria and I agree, the color is fantastic. Neutral without being gray (so tired of gray cars - ugh). This car reminds me of our 1979 Mercury Grand Marquis (same Panther platform body style) we had when I was a kid in the early 80s. Nicest, most luxurious, smoothest riding car we ever had. After a few years, Dad traded it for a diesel Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera (popular at the time but forgotten today; rightfully so IMO) and I was crushed - it was such a downgrade from the Mercury. Anyway, this is another fine vehicle up for auction and I love to see it!
Back when we were teenagers a friend of mine's father had a 1984 Crown Vic that was the same color inside and out. He and I learned that these would do burnouts without much effort. I don't know the VIN on this but it looks like it might have the P72 Police Package. If it has an engine oil cooler then it does.
I saw this car in person at Anthony's shop a few years back. Pictures, videos, and descriptions cannot do it justice. It is incredible.
Thanks!
Bulletproof is the best way to describe these Ford Panther platform cars. Very nice! Thanks for posting.
