I must to say....LV have lost quality! I was buying my first 3 bags around 2009 and they last so long! After I bought Neverful GM in in 2018 I think, and it was also a good buy! Last year I bought Neo Neo and 4 key holders and both of them have after 10-11 month glazing problem! Also I bought 1 month ago card holder and I have notice strange glaizng 1 week after. I also bought LV belt last year and I see signs of future troubles. Mainly it is all about glaizng in my case. Super disapointed. Card holder they exchanged, about my key holder they said it is normal, while I checked youtubers and people have it for 3-5 years and glaze is not peeling off. Wear off looks diferent from when glaze is just peeling off. About Neo Neo...SA contacted LV an sent pictures and she will contact me in next coming days. My friend have the same problem with Neo Neo and on youtube other people have the same problem. Shocking...what is going on with LV! I definetly will take a long berak from them. Will go back to other brands. Could you tell your opinion, what is going on with LV product quality?
Yes! Half the people don’t know how to take care of them! I would likely spill food on it, and that’s why I would hesitate to buy it! Even looking for a pre-loved Eva in damier azure, but they all look dirty 🙁
If you notice. Princess Diana, coco chanel, audrey hepburn and other celebs and noble. They always wear gloves to handle their bags. That prevent the leather to get dirty and discoloring. I have a few luxuries that last over 10 years and they look like brand new, even I use them for traveling. I don't wear gloves but using a little nice scarf to wrap the bag handles. Going through airport TSA I use the dust bag to cover my LV to get through security scanner. You want to be a lady, so act and have manners of a lady. You don't want to carry a lv, a gucci and show off your dirty feed wearing a sloppy thong sandals. Take care your stuffs or everything is no different. You are beautiful depending on How you take care of yourself and your stuffs.
Is Epi leather water resistant (not waterproof but not a nightmare if it gets wet and then wiped) similar to Prada’s saffiano? Or if I want such a bag should I just stick with the DE canvas? I have the new wave leather and got caught in a downpour. It looks fine after wiping but who knows. Is it not a big deal? Looking for an all weather bag. Thank you…I was experiencing allergy and eczema….I found out I’m allergic to apples, peaches, and most crunchy things! I thought it was gluten at first, but no. It’s better now that my doc put me on a clinical trial, it’s helping!

THEY PROBABLY WORE DARK DENIM - NEVER WASHED THE DEMIN BEFORE WEARING IT OR sweat like crazy in some dark fabric and then wonder why the canvass picked up color ? I have several pieces in my collection of Damier Azur BUT only use them spring summer and mostly always with light colored pre-washed clothing. Clean them during the summer & NEVER PUT THEM ON THE GROUND -- EVER. they are in pristine condition and I use them daily. I Have the Lymington, NeverFull MM, Sarah Wallet, key holder, cosmetic pouch & I use the felt liner to protect the interiors. Then put them away for the winter when I bring out my monograms and Emprinte Noirs

I didn't know much about Louis Vuitton when I bought my first bag which was the Totally MM in DA and I used it to death in the rain and sun and literally all year long... After the Totally MM, I got the Neverfull MM in Monogram still not knowing what I was going in for. I had no clue about the vachetta leather until after using the Neverfull to death too and then it sat in the closet for about 2 years and when I took in out again, I noticed the honey patina and I was like.. WHAT HAPPENED? And that's when I went on UA-cam and started to watch reviews and learning about the patina in the vachetta leather. I'm not a big fan of the patina... so far it I can still accept it on my Totally MM and Neverfull MM but with my other bags, I'm starting to baby the bags... I want a carefree bag but I can't get myself to like the DE print... so I'm looking at the Odeon MM in Monogram with the Noir leather right now
I haven't pulled the trigger for the DA for the reason you stated. But it's so pretty. Good point on the Twist. I have my eye on the Twist wallet/combo (price is still below 2K) but didn't think about the weight and the hardware could scratch easily. I don't own an epi leather yet why I thought that WOC would be perfect. Will look at preloved market. Thank you. Haha I have it toooooo 😍 I wouldn’t say it’s ideal for an everyday, BUT I LOVE that it’s round, the size, structured yet doesn’t sag but still soft, the details on strap, the tag, the double zip, the versatility on lengths you could ware,.. Love, love, love the D.A. canvas. I wear a lot of navy and white (often linen) in the warmer months and I also wear it with a light blue cotton dress. Never had colour transfer from those materials. It works well with pale grey, light pink and soft yellow too. When worn as a shoulder bag pair it with light coloured tops and if it’s against the hip, pair with light grey or white pants. Dresses of course work with both. It’s my favourite canvas but items in that print seem to be getting scarce.
What do you think of the Hermes Garden Party bag 30 cms size? I saw several in. the pre-loved market. I have always liked the simplicity of the Garden Party compared to the Birkin. Of course, I won't buy brand new. The pre-loved items are so much cheaper.

I have a damier azure neverfull MM for a year now and LOVE it!!! No color transfer and I wear it all year round. However, make sure you don’t wear it when it rains tho.
I agree with you on all the points you mentioned about the bag shapes. But I love my Damier Azur print 😁 and luckily didn't have any issues with color transfer until now (but I tend to wear it only with pastels, therefor I'm quite safe🤞)
I keep flirting with the idea of getting a Pochette Métis in black empreinte leather. It looks like it holds a lot while sitting flat against the body and it has a handy cell pocket in the back. Compared to other LV leather it now seems like a bargain. But do you think the QA issues have been resolved with the design and the bag is not too overdone? Any feedback would be appreciated.
I have always loved the look of the damier azur. Thank you for pointing out the con of the design of the Graceful damier azur bag. I would love to get a damier azur speedy 25 preloved in the future but I would go into knowing that there is a high possibility of color transfer. The part about the dye transferring on the bag is so true... I've had a beach-like bag from Michael Kors with off white and blue stripes & took it with me on my trip to Phoenix. Where it is HOT :) Me and my husband went for a walk in the mountains there & I whore a dark blue linnen top. You can probably guess what happend ... 😢 But ok, that bag was not super expensive like LV.

Michelle I ordered the neverfull mm canvas and the shoulder strap seem short. It fits under my armpit. No room to really throw it to the back. I had to return it. I wish he added 2 more inches on the strap. The strap is thin also it hurts. I rather put my money into a speedy 30b. So disappointing. Sorry just ranting. Love your reviews and honesty. Most luxury totes I believe have short straps. You think the graceful mm is better?

I have a Delightful PM in Damier Azure. It is such a pretty bag but I rarely use it because it stains so easily and the strap is quite annoying as it slides off my shoulder ever so often.

My first Louis Vuitton got me to your channel. I want to hear your thought on the following. My daughter bought me a Speedy 25 NM as a gift. That was the only one available in the store. When we looked at the bag closely at home, we noticed that a thread on the edge of the bag is broken and pointing out. I was disappointed that no one at LV noticed the broken thread and still sold it to my daughter. Do they check the quality of each item any more? I brought the purse to the store and asked for an exchange but they ran out of Speedy bags. I had very high regards for LV before this but it appears to me that the company don’t care about customer’s satisfaction any more, especially since the Speedy’s are hot item. Is the store manager inspects their products before putting them out for sale? Also, it’s very interesting that the Louis Vuitton store where my daughter bought the purse only has a rating of 3.5/ 5. I guess that says something about this store. Such a shame for a luxury brand.

Damier Azur the white lv canvas was not good at all as you mentioned, the stains were quite bad especially during the summer. I also had the same issue with several bags and items in that canvas. Damier ebene and damier graphite are better value at least for me. Regarding the twist I must sadly agree with you. I remember that the hardware was easily scratched. Sorry for the bad spelling. My Damier Azur Eva clutch is so heavily pampered BECAUSE I'm so afraid of color and denim transfer. I only pull it out of the box when I'm wearing white or something much lighter in color LOL!

Same I have a never full and a wallet with the DA print. I did get pen marks on the wallet and it was devastating, but my bag has stayed really clean. I don’t wear real jeans, though, I wear soft pants lol

Right after I bought it, I regretted it because I’m afraid that the silkscreening will wear very quickly. I don’t plan to use it every day, and I have a few silkscreen items from LV that have held up very well, but none were this expensive. Should I exchange it or keep it? It’s going to be a collector’s piece, I’m sure, but I want to use it and not be afraid.

IMO, not worth the price. My 2018 LV which was worn 4 times, had stitching come undone. It was fixed, however I’ll never purchase LV again.

It’s very durable. It was made for long journeys! The New Wave is calf skin and not meant to be durable like Epi!

I have an azur neverfull GM since 2014 zero color transfer , i use it all summer , april to sept ... for years,, my fav bag i love it!!!
I have a damier azure neverfull MM for a year now and LOVE it!!! No color transfer and I wear it all year round. However, make sure you don’t wear it when it rains tho.

I agree with you on all the points you mentioned about the bag shapes. But I love my Damier Azur print 😁 and luckily didn't have any issues with color transfer until now (but I tend to wear it only with pastels, therefor I'm quite safe🤞)

I keep flirting with the idea of getting a Pochette Métis in black empreinte leather. It looks like it holds a lot while sitting flat against the body and it has a handy cell pocket in the back. Compared to other LV leather it now seems like a bargain. But do you think the QA issues have been resolved with the design and the bag is not too overdone? Any feedback would be appreciated.
The quality issue only occurs with the canvas. In my opinion, paying a little more for leather that will not crack is a much better option!
I have always loved the look of the damier azur. Thank you for pointing out the con of the design of the Graceful damier azur bag. I would love to get a damier azur speedy 25 preloved in the future but I would go into knowing that there is a high possibility of color transfer. I am in no hurry because I would need for it to be an every day bag and I don’t see a way to keep in clean with heavy use. Tfs. You look great today ♥️

The part about the dye transferring on the bag is so true... I've had a beach-like bag from Michael Kors with off white and blue stripes & took it with me on my trip to Phoenix. Where it is HOT :) Me and my husband went for a walk in the mountains there & I whore a dark blue linnen top. You can probably guess what happend ... 😢 But ok, that bag was not super expensive like LV.
I always come back and will choose the neverfull or speedy as a mom and for night Or traveling the pochette .

Michelle I ordered the neverfull mm canvas and the shoulder strap seem short. It fits under my armpit. No room to really throw it to the back. I had to return it. I wish he added 2 more inches on the strap. The strap is thin also it hurts. I rather put my money into a speedy 30b. So disappointing. Sorry just ranting. Love your reviews and honesty. Most luxury totes I believe have short straps. You think the graceful mm is better?
Hi Soksann! Not everyone loves the Neverfull straps! I am really not a fan of the Graceful, but I’m not a shoulder bag type! Maybe the Iena or Lymington? Those are double strap like totes. Thanks always for watching! 💕🌸

I have a Delightful PM in Damier Azure. It is such a pretty bag but I rarely use it because it stains so easily and the strap is quite annoying as it slides off my shoulder ever so often.

My first Louis Vuitton got me to your channel. I want to hear your thought on the following. My daughter bought me a Speedy 25 NM as a gift. That was the only one available in the store. When we looked at the bag closely at home, we noticed that a thread on the edge of the bag is broken and pointing out. I was disappointed that no one at LV noticed the broken thread and still sold it to my daughter. Do they check the quality of each item any more?
I brought the purse to the store and asked for an exchange but they ran out of Speedy bags. I had very high regards for LV before this but it appears to me that the company don’t care about customer’s satisfaction any more, especially since the Speedy’s are hot item. Is the store manager inspects their products before putting them out for sale?
Also, it’s very interesting that the Louis Vuitton store where my daughter bought the purse only has a rating of 3.5/ 5. I guess that says something about this store. Such a shame for a luxury brand.

Damier Azur the white lv canvas was not good at all as you mentioned, the stains were quite bad especially during the summer. I also had the same issue with several bags and items in that canvas. Damier ebene and damier graphite are better value at least for me. Regarding the twist I must sadly agree with you. I remember that the hardware was easily scratched. Sorry for the bad spelling. Really appreciated this video and it answered my questions about DA. Just purchased a 2007 Saleya PM in DA from Fashionphile. It's in wonderful condition. I'm still deciding if I should keep it or send it back. Debating if I should invest in a mon mono speedy 25 classic instead.

I've got the DE in the classic speedy 25 so may get the mon monogram. With canvas being scarce and rumors LV is phasing out canvas, who knows which way to go.😉

Same I have a never full and a wallet with the DA print. I did get pen marks on the wallet and it was devastating, but my bag has stayed really clean. I don’t wear real jeans, though, I wear soft pants lol

Hi Michelle, I was wondering if you can give me some advice. I bought a Pochette Métis with the Fornasetti cameo print online. It hasn’t been delivered yet, it will be delivered tomorrow. Right after I bought it, I regretted it because I’m afraid that the silkscreening will wear very quickly. I don’t plan to use it every day, and I have a few silkscreen items from LV that have held up very well, but none were this expensive. Should I exchange it or keep it? It’s going to be a collector’s piece, I’m sure, but I want to use it and not be afraid.
Ooooh Dawn, that is a tough one! The art lover in me would keep it because I love collectibles like that. However I understand it’s really expensive, and if you feel uneasy about it, then you should buy something that makes you feel happy, not stressed! Would you regret it if you didn’t have it?
