LOL to that opening! That was great! I’m glad it looks like you’re getting more settled!
Re: crave // twilight. I have been going through my stuff in my dad’s basement (he’s selling the house) and I found all my twilight books and wow that Crave cover looks just like the old school Twilight covers!
I finally finished "Strike the Zither" this month, but nothing else. I really recommend that book!
Sounds like a Jungle!!! Hahahaha
Great wrap up 📚🥤
I am about 3/4 of the way through a fate inked in bloom. I finished the 5th mortal instrument book, Carrie soto is back and the atlas complex. I knew it would take me forever to get through the atlas complex and it did. I definitely regret getting that series.
I'm soooo glad I DNFed The Atlas Six series. Best decision I ever made
I haven't read the Crave series but have it on my never ending TBR. I read a crapload of books last month but they were all much shorter than what I used to read. I finished the last two books in Stacia Stark's Kingdom of Lies series and book 4 that released the other day was the final one. I don't think I could handle another cliff hanger from that one. It reminds me of Throne of Glass so I enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure she will be writing a spinoff book or two regarding a few side characters since they left for an adventure via ship and a mysterious thing happened with a male fae that interacted with the female fae that left. I'm pretty sure that was intentional from the author.
A Fate Inked In Blood was good but I hate that we have to wait so long for the next book. The author pulled a Rebecca Yarros in the end and now we have to wait.
I read the Covenant series by Jennifer Armentrout and those were quick reads and had a slow burn romance. The ending in the last book made me so upset I swear my neighbors heard me yelling WHAT?! No No No Nooooooooooo. I won't say how it played out but if you read it, you will know what I mean.
I read a very short story called Bones and I need therapy now. I think the FBI should keep an eye on that author because wtf.
I had to DNF an ARC which I really hate to do because I'm afraid I won't be approved for more I request if I do that but I just couldn't take it anymore. It was called Seeker by Samuel Griffin. The plot was not plotting. I kept waiting for it and nothing. I kept avoiding reading it because I was so bored. I don't know if it was a me thing and others will enjoy it or I was right and the author needed to step it up. I think I mentioned it in one of your other videos. I read a bunch of others too but that is way too much typing so I just mentioned the ones I really liked and hated lol.
I definitely bought the first book of the Covenant series right before reading this and then I read this and was like OMG no 🤣🤣 Now that has me stressed.
I hate DNFing ARCs too, but sometimes you just have to do it.
I just started Funny Story!
I have to trade Confessions with Bloom. I loved Confessions (maybe because I am a teacher). Hated Bloom because of the gore. agghhh DNF'd Anniebot I wanted to punch Doug!!
