Nice video and like the GoPro attachment procedure which seems simple enough. You may want to try the ModiFry foldup cupholder which is easy to install and provides an out-of-the way place that's easily accessible to securely hold drinks. It allows shifting gears without awkwardly reaching over that nonfunctional OEM cupholder in the S2K. I just installed one and it works great.

I should check out the cup holder. I wonder if it would fit with where my new phone mount is, they seem to be in similar locations.

Just eyeballing your cellphone holder location, I think that the cupholder would work as it would seem to sit lower and a bit farther away from the dash position than the cellphone. The cupholder mount bracket is on the side of the shift tunnel where the cargo net screws are located on the passenger side. I would suggest checking with the ModiFry company folk to see if they are compatible before ordering and also be sure to get the right bracket for your S2K model year. By the way, that company makes a pretty slick S2K glovebox organizer which makes that small space much more practical to store things. It sure is fun to add new useful features to an already great car. Good luck!

Hey buddy, question for you - when you installed that mount - did you have to trim any pieces to allow the radio door to close, etc? Thanks!

Hi! I did not trim anything, although perhaps I should, because the door is slow to open. but it doesn't bother me at the moment.

@@TheAllAmericanDriver Folks that replace these tops say to always go with a OEM replacement. Aftermarket don't fit properly and you don't want to destroy the look of your ride.

Modify is great, have the stereo module for new head unit. Me personally my phone is in the center console when I drive the car, I can live without a cellphone for the time I drive the car, nothing wrong if you need it, he has solutions for everyday problems. Get the strap kit for the top, you'll thank me
