Not sure if anyone is still going to read this or not but this song brings back so many memories... I remember doing a performance with my school and we used this song. It was basically good versus evil and we all had these elaborated costumes and I really loved doing it so much, this song still gives me chills.
woodlefoof2 Yes it's pretty close...and believe me I'd know cause I wrote the X-Men theme. Someone just pointed this song out to me. No biggie though. More flattering then anything.
I think it's because it's lean a bit into classical music, which brings a certain timeless feel to the music piece. "Trendy" music falls out of style rather quickly, because trends change all the time.
@@natazeze just because you do not understand simple logic doesn’t mean people are seeking attention. you replying to my comment which I left 3 years ago is not seeking attention? And you see, 90 ppl liked this comment. You are the only one do not get it. Sorry you felt the need to be pathetic. Have a good day 😊
It's been years since I last heard this... I remember I was in elementary school when I started writing a story. I found this song and thought it would be super cool to have a prequel/backstory based off of this song. It was so inspiring to me back then. Now I'm in high school, haven't touched that story in years, and I can't help but remember how happy I was working on that project with my friends. I hope I can reconnect with them soon. This song is so spectacularly performed. Even today, I'm entranced and I hope it can continue to inspire others
If you ever revisit this story and put it down on paper, know that you have an interested reader in me (another fellow UA-cam stranger). Good luck in your creative endeavours!
I love that they're smiling and looking like their having so much fun while they play. I know far too many musicians who have this very serious game face when they play and, although I admire concentration, I believe that if you truly love what you're doing, look like what you're doing is enjoyable and fun. It makes it even better for viewers to watch you perform as well.
I love the alegro energy in this music. One of my all time favorites. I heard this years ago and really loved it. Though I was not aware that BOND consisted of 4 women playing 2 violins (Haylie & Eos), a viola (Tania) and a cello (Gay-Yee). Definitely pioneers here in their own right on many levels including integrating variations of multimedia with classical style that rocks ~
thankfully, cause this is how I found this song! I was on a trip with my family (a Bulgarian here) and I will forever associate this track to Greece and especially the highway we were on :D
Similar to X-Men but it's closer to music used in one of the 007 James Bond films or games. Can't remember which one it is though. For some reason I keep thinking it was used in the Goldeneye N64 game.
RadgarEleding yeah, because of that this song sounds so dinky to me. I searched for this today and still hate it. It’s like when you see someone who looks like someone you know, but a weird version.
RadgarEleding I used to whistle this whole song including the intro back in high school and when it came to the intro my parents always thought I was whistling the X-men song
As if beautiful women can solve world problems, world hunger? give them sexy babes, war? give them sexy babes, deforestation? Slapped them with sexy babes.
I remember my cousin introduced this to me while he was reading his law school books. Years later I still remember it and say to myself it sure one epic piece of music.
My thoughts exactly. LoL Somebody was a fan, that's all I'm sayin. At LEAST three separate riffs line up almost perfectly. WAY to close on those parts to be just a coincidence.
This song popped up on a Spotify playlist and I had the massive nostalgia hit me. I remembered the amount of dance routines created because of this song. Also I dreamt a ice skating routine to this song 😅
All I can say is WOW - just extraordinary, magnificent and wonderful - thanks for posting and thank you Kaitlyn for turning me on to this String Quartet.
An absolutely BRILLIANT SONG! This song is the epitome of a sports highlight song.. but only a few atheletes can have montages synced to this perfection. Michael Jordan, Barry Sanders, Billy Sims, Magic Johson & Gale Sayers. Beauitful composition...one that will last for the ages!!!
Explosivo! Este tema me vuela la cabeza. Está increíble. Cada vez que tengo un mal día escucho este tema , no cambia en nada. Sin embargo musicalizó el mal día. 🤟
I play this in loop mode, out loud, 6 days a week at LA Fitness! This song makes me feel myself mentally while working out my body at the age of 55. Feels good to look like you're in your early 40s. Found this song watching Gold Medalist Gymnast, Alicia Sacromone, just a week ago!! And she worked the hell out of this piece!
I remember this played with a piano rendition while wearing our casual attire during pageant night wayback college days. I had a hard time stringing the sounds, finally made it here after 8 years! What a relief!

I was looking through my middle school notebook and saw this was listed as my favorite song in the personalization notebook.I had no memory of this song at first. But after 10 years this still SLAPS.
This song to me sounds like a war song It starts of over a radio, telling people what is happening. Then the drums kick in and the war starts, and the enemy is fighting a hard fight. then the violin comes in, showing that the allies are starting to gain control if the fight. It continues as the enemy starts retreating, while still putting up a fight. As the music gets faster it shows the allies are closing in on the enemy at a very fast pace. Then the music slows back down, the enemy has taken a final stance to try and take back the territory, but the violin keeps playing, showing the allies are holding firm, and eventually they wipe out the enemy. The music takes a softer tone, the allies have taken the area, but lost hundreds of thousands of men, and they are in mourning at their lost comrades, but the music picks back up, showing that they will continue the fight for their lost soldiers, and as they continue to fight, they keep pushing the enemy back until they eventually surrender. The ending of the song shows that they may have won the war, but there is a dark tone in the back, they have lost so many men and lives will be ruined, but they saved the world from a terrible fate
Rubbish! It’s set in a dictatorship country in South America who want to shut down this pirating music ‘contaminating our young people’. But the girls escape of course. Nothing to do with ‘war’!
Chicas ustedes son sensacionales... Me encantan sus expresiones y la fuerza con la que transmiten la pasión, demás esta decir que son demasiado hermosas.!
They're Okay I suppose but Bond is better. I first saw them on Bratain Got Talent, they have changed the band name to Escala due to some controversy thing on BGT.
Derek Shankar I agree - I was confused when you said they were called scala cos I only know them as Escala and I heard them and felt nothing. Bond have so much more energy and excitement - much more fluid in their movements and more personality and expression in their faces. Technical ability is not enough you have to have that ability to connect with the music and the audience.
Anyone listening in 2024?
This played while I was driving late to work....most intense drive ever

To me this is the most nostalgic song in existence. When I was younger, The Cute Mario Bros Movie completely BLEW MY MIND.

A bit embarrassed to say I've come from Strictly come dancing. Not at all embarrassed to have encountered such a great piece and a great group. Wow!

Same here!
