Both of these people have spent their life dedicated to the boundaries and rules classical music. They both are very capable in multiple genres of music (if you take any time to listen to their works other than this one) This is their arrangement of this song and it seems to be doing very well. They understand what they are doing and may have more education on the topic than MOST of the haters in these comments. They are both attractive people and they dress how they want to dress because they have a right to that. In terms of liking an arrangement or really anything, not everything is for everybody and that's okay!
I just happened upon your comment from 3 years ago and want to respond to it. I’m 67 years old now and was a classical pianist and organist since I was 5. I also ventured into other styles and genres of music when I was in my late teens (and no longer dictated by my parents or instructors), while still playing classical music. I personally think that Hauser is the only talented one in this duet, Lola being the one without much. Her visual appearance has created numerous comments, responses, and debates from both men and women, and I do agree with you that they are entitled to wear and dress however they like, but not when it comes to wearing stilettos while playing the piano! This is NOT appropriate, nor is her sitting so far away from the keys bc of them! Anyone who is a musician in the true sense of the word should know better! As for the remarks about Lola’s looks, it shouldn’t even have been brought up in the discussions as much as it was - let the men ogle a woman from a magazine, or in person, and NOT a video of a beautiful, classic Beethoven sonata, hence taking up the amount of space that it did. *** I can’t say enough about how talented I think Hauser is, and his natural ability to play many different styles of music 🎶!

When it's a woman, however, people start yapping and what they see in their eyes is probably like a horrible 6 year old pianist dressed in a 1000$ tuxedo. It causes them to cringe, because the person is seemingly seeing herself as more important than she is. But this is not the case here, because LoLa is a skilled player For example Melle Baby on UA-cam plays guitar half-naked and people get really mad because they say a guy with her level of skill would never be famous, and that she is only famous cause people enjoy looking at her. I think people have this idea that men play music from their soul and women just want attention, that men go to the gym and lift like monsters, and women just want attention, etc. Etc. But I found that many women seem to, in addition to focusing on performance, summon energy from a separate dimension and focus that energy on looking good. And that focus does not come at the cost of performance, it's like the saying "i have a separate stomach for dessert And it was when I listened to a singer on youtube named marcela, that I realized one can be gorgeous and *also* a very good musician. It's not a zero-sum game. Overall, the bitterness people have around what each sex is "allowed" to do is holding humanity back from its fullest potential

If Lola sat any further back she'd be in the wings. I can assure anyone, as beautiful as she is, that playing postition is neither comfortable of maintainable over any length of time, therefore, can only conclude that she loves the physical attention, it detracts from her musical talent. Beautiful! My favorite piano piece to play. And played at the right tempo - so many play it too fast. I love your posture, and that you feel the music without having to look at your hands.
Becasuse they/she want us to be sexually interested in her and some other aspects (like comfort) must be contorted and adjusted to fascilitate that goal. She probably can't manipulate the peddals with her feet because of the shoes when she sits closer, and her knees will also hit the piano. Awkward as it may seem, the pose maximizes the audience's view of her legs and thighs and buttox and hips which are enhanced by the shoes and tight minidress in order to stir our sexual interest in her which multiplies the amount of views and therfor grants them a higher revenue. Sexuality is enhanced even further by the shoes by tilting of her body in such an angle that her buttox is portruding outward with an arched back which is a very powerful sexual simmage indeed. I am both insulted by their attempt to use my and her sexuality for commerical purposes as well as being dissapointed in myself and other men that it is working. As well being impressed by how well the sexualization of this woman has been executed.
I think it is because they want them to sit together, but the cello needs enough room to bow. Possibly? I mean, the visual aspects of this video are an art as well as the audio so we could just chalk it up to an artistic choice, instead of a practical one.

This video would have been beautiful and classy if Lola Astanova had worn a romantically elegant dress that would have fit the music better. Maki Namekawa plays sometimes with high heels, but she is Japanese and has short legs! Her posture though is that of other pianists, while Lola Astanova sits back from the piano and sometimes has to bend forward to reach the keys. But however, her legs dominate the performance, and I guess, that's the intention. When performing with her, Stjepan still appears to be himself (just like in his beautiful past performances with Oliver Dragojevic), which lets Lola appear even more like coming from a different planet. Nevertheless, I like her Moonlight interpretation.
At 2:04, I understand you want her legs to be seen, but what a ridiculous pose. No pianist sits THAT FAR from the keys. Sorry, but it actually detracts from the music.

You are correct. In 12 inch heels, I'm sure it's not easy playing piano. I think the piece was beautiful. And yes, it is a bit sexy but...the man would have had his shirt unbuttoned showing his chest, you probably wouldn't be hearing any complaints. Women do the same thing when a hunk of man shows his abs or other muscles and it's supposed to be o.k.. (for them). But God forbid a woman show her beautiful legs and has a nice bust line. Her position was ridiculous. I don't know if she can actually play the piece or not but she certainly wasn't playing it here. She may indeed be able to play it but probably can't while seated in this (Look at me) position. Ramon O you can appreciate it all you want, that doesn’t make it an effective piano playing technique. Lang lang and kissin may seem similar to you (their techniques are really quite different, no idea why the comparison) but the methods they are using are tried and tested. Her technique might work fine on an easy piece like moonlight, but she’ll have problems with harder pieces playing like that
+Grace -- Lola may have problems with harder peces, but I won't; in fact I'll appreciate even more, the frontal shots of Lola playing harder pieces, like the 3rd Movement of the Moonlight. Or the 1st Movement of Tchaikovsky's Piano Conc. Nr 1 -- as long as she wears the same attire.

If Lola sat any further back she'd be in the wings. I can assure anyone, as beautiful as she is, that playing postition is neither comfortable of maintainable over any length of time, therefore, can only conclude that she loves the physical attention, it detracts from her musical talent. Yes, she's beautiful and an absolute vision in those short dresses she always seems to wear but she's working it too hard.

Maki Namekawa plays sometimes with high heels, but she is Japanese and has short legs! Her posture though is that of other pianists, while Lola Astanova sits back from the piano and sometimes has to bend forward to reach the keys. But however, her legs dominate the performance, and I guess, that's the intention.
When performing with her, Stjepan still appears to be himself (just like in his beautiful past performances with Oliver Dragojevic), which lets Lola appear even more like coming from a different planet. Nevertheless, I like her Moonlight interpretation.

Ramon O you can appreciate it all you want, that doesn’t make it an effective piano playing technique. Lang lang and kissin may seem similar to you (their techniques are really quite different, no idea why the comparison) but the methods they are using are tried and tested. Her technique might work fine on an easy piece like moonlight, but she’ll have problems with harder pieces playing like that
+Grace -- Lola may have problems with harder peces, but I won't; in fact I'll appreciate even more, the frontal shots of Lola playing harder pieces, like the 3rd Movement of the Moonlight. Or the 1st Movement of Tchaikovsky's Piano Conc. Nr 1 -- as long as she wears the same attire.
