I gotta make one. This is amazing. I made a hammer out of gears i found from transmissions, transfer cases and the handle from an axle shaft of a car for my toolbox prop. But this would be amazing to have. Major props to you making this!
If i can send a picture i would. I made a metal hammer out of gears and axle shaft as a handle, and I made a gear style battle axe with a big gear from a semi truck engine and an axle shaft for handle as well, i have them in my toolbox as props
Is the whole hammer body made out of one sheet of EVA foam? If not, are there certain parts that vary in thickness? Also just wanted to say that you did a fantastic job with this, I’ve been looking all over for a tutorial or some insight as to making this the cheapest way possible and yours is certainly the best.
Thank you very much^^, yes the hammer was mostly done from one sheet 0,5cm on the inside of the hammer where the handle is is a 1cm piece for more stability. and some detail parts like on the left and right side of the gears are made from a 2mm sheet^^
This looks awesome! Would you ever release your measurements for how big you made each thing made out of foam or the handle? A pattern would be totally awesome!
I would release it but I can´t digitile the patterns yet for my work, I need to learn it first xD But people has contacted me on FB for measurements! ^^ If you have any specific question I can try to help you :3
do you take commissions on these? i’ve been wanting to cosplay as heisenberg but everywhere i look requires to know how to 3d print to get his hammer which i have 0 knowledge about, nor do i have a 3d printer
@@lowlvlcosplay YES, I'm super excited about this project I've been working on it since the end of last year, but I've only now acquired most of the components needed for the idea. I'm even using parts from those children's electric tricycles, parts from electronic devices and some 3D printed parts (pulleys and internal gears). The biggest problem is just the final weight, according to my calculations it will easily reach 7 kilos, but if the idea works as I imagined it will be a beautiful project!
