With the heat of last summer in Texas only 3 of 9 encore azaleas survived having been 2 years in the ground. With. Climate change upon us I will not be planting any more encore azaleas even as beautiful as they are.

Your loss. My encores bloomed beautifully here in Texas, with or without climate change. It's been just as hot here as it has been 100 years ago.
