I clicked so fast to see this video because Buddy’s azaleas are one of my top shrubs 💚 They weren’t eyesores during our extreme heat in Texas last summer and still look great in January. I’m always up for trying new varieties in addition to the eight I already have.
Thank-you for sharing the exciting news!! Mr. Lee is the coolest, and such a gentleman. I have 3 different encore azaleas and plan to get more - they have been easy and reliable. Of course I’ll wait endlessly for the elusive yellow / orange encore 🤞😃🤞- I volunteer my garden for trials!!

You’ve been doing this from such a young age and it’s paid off AND we all get to enjoy your work with these beautiful little blooms in our gardens. I'm waiting to see if my first Encore Azalea will survive my MA 6a winter. The tag said zone 6 but we'l see. I love everything about it! Please ask Buddy for more plants hardy to zone 6a.

I've been watching your encore azalea videos this month, trying to "cure" my azalea fever (come on spring! 😄), and this just made me want to seek out the pre-order status for some of them. I couldn't find autumn lilac, chiffon, nor carnation last spring but I have high hopes for 2023. Thanks for another great video Jim!!
I’m pretty sure I saw all 3 of these at the big box home stores last year, I’m in northern virginia - btw those same stores usually get a small shipment of encores right before fall as well, because many are in their 2nd bloom - good luck! :)
Now we need an evergreen type azalea that blooms in june. I live in Iowa, evergreen type azaleas are hardy but a May frost will kill off the flower buds. Im originally from Philly ans miss seeing an azalea hedge, a bluff planting of azaleas, a mass planting of azaleas and a foundation planting of azaleas. I love DVWs and all of the Nancy hybrids.

So beautiful, I just picked up two autumn lily on clearance at Lowes yesterday, gorgeous plants!
Love Encore Azaleas but also hope growers keep producing the spring.shade -loving larger azaleas.

Azaleas are the worst plants to take care of. I hated it. Never buying them again for sure!
