It gets old hearing the same story on 6 different channels. Exact same, word for word. At least rephrase it, jeez!! The channels I've heard recently almost always have to do with human stalkers, encounters with a serial killer, being abducted, R worded, near death experiences (not out of body experiences... when people almost die from something.), etc. Few are paranormal. Don't get it twisted, I love the paranormal but have heavily researched it the last few years and I'm burnt out on it. Besides, humans are WAY scarier than anything potentially paranormal. Ghosts don't kill people. People kill people. Skinwalkers... no evidence that they're real. Wendigo, smh. Too many supposed mythological creatures with no evidence they ever truly existed. It just makes the paranormal look like a joke with all these stories. I actually saw a video of a clear figure, like in one of lazy masquerades first videos. He described someone's encounter with a see through humanoid that could alter its frequency to be camouflage to human eyes. But the person could see grass and leaves being kicked up. There's a video from the 90s of something similar, except when it screamed, it sounded like a dinosaur. People don't understand how much we DON'T have figured out. Our written and detailed history only goes back a few thousand years. Most things are conditioning and unconfirmed theories, like evolution and the ice age. I forgot about it because I didnt hear or see anything while I was there and deleted the original footage out of my phone.. i found the file backed up in my Gmail account 2 months ago, so years have gone by. I decided to watch it all the way through and there was a man's voice around the 4 and a half minute mark. I was completely alone. I checked the ENTIRE house. The basement, the attic, every closet, etc. The house was empty except trash and raggedy old toys thrown EVERY WHERE, so my footsteps echoed loudly on the hard wood floors. I don't believe it was a human. Besides, people around here have a ghetto slang to their accent. This voice sounded very authoritative and official... like a soldier. It never made sense based on what I thought it said. Well, a couple days ago, I was taking pictures on my porch, of lightning. One flash lit up the entire sky and side of the same abandoned house, which is the one next to mine. I got this urge to zoom into the top, attic window to the house next door and you can see some old man's face hovering IN FRONT of the window. It doesn't look like your typical pareidolia. You can see his deep eyes, eye brows, large nose, frowning mouth, cheek bones, hair and hairline, and even what looks like body armor below the neck, which might make sense to the authority sounding voice I heard in the other video play back. To me, it sounds like it says, "You're a trooper, little girl." It never made sense or seemed like something a "ghost" would say. But I don't believe the paranormal are spirits of the dead, rather, a species all of their own. Actually, many species on another dimensional plane that overlaps ours. I do believe some of them are humanoid, with similar builds to us, according to many a story of "aliens" whom are tall, usually blond, with blue or red eyes (like an albino animal would have.) And very pale. Sounds a lot like what many people experience as the paranormal. I think the one I saw was just much older, hence the high cheek bones.... or it might judt be some well constructed pareidolia, but the voice is unexplainable. The house had no electricity, no HVAC, no plumbing, the kitchen was entirely stepped, cabinets destroyed, the house needs a LOT of work. Yet, the EMF radar was lighting up the entire time. Even with my Bluetooth, wifi and with service, my husbands phone doesn't make the Emf Radar go up to the red light, only yellow. It's mild. My phone didn't have service when I was next door and still doesn't, I used WiFi, so it wasn't my phone making the EMF radar light up though I said it did in my video because I thought it did until I tested it out today. Unless I have the EMF radar up against the FRONT of my phone, it doesn't do anything with those things turned off. I held my phone and emf radar in the same hand at one part in the video and it didn't make the Emf Radar light up. Anyways, the paranormal IS real. We are just conditioned with the predisposed beliefs of our elders to believe otherwise, but things are changing and people are becoming more open minded and less judgemental. But again... It wasn't a freaking bear, unless they lived in Alaska. it would have had to be a polar bear, if it had a white face but I think someone would recognize a bear versus a human face. Man's best friend story made me cry alittle cause I imagined how the poor boy felt each time he went past the house his previous owner was buried in...
I know this is an old video now, but the Tex story reminds me of something my very superstitious mother used to tell me about she called a "time slip." Basically, it's exactly like this story - you walk into a particular space, usually somewhere that has strong memories attached, and experience a moment that's stuck in time. She told me about how she experienced it once at Disneyland, when she walked into the old petting zoo (now where Star Wars land is), and noticed that there was a new restaurant tucked away in the back. She was interested, but really more than anything needed to use the bathroom, so she asked a guy working at the restaurant where the closest one was. He pointed her in a different direction since the restaurant was so full, he said it'd be easier to walk a little ways rather than go through the crowd. This was probably in the early 2000s. She went again the next year (we always went once a year when I was a kid) and at the same spot noticed the entire restaurant was gone. She asked an employee at the petting zoo area what happened to it, and they just gave her a confused look and told her there did used to be a restaurant there, but it closed decades prior. According to her, these "time slips" are common in places near fault lines or running bodies of water because of the "energy" they generate. I'm not sure how much I believe her, but this story sounds exactly like how she'd describe it. It's sort of like a super intense deja vu feeling from what she described, but of something totally nonsensical and not possible, but that it feels real as day when it happens. Weird to hear something familiar!
Dude that sing text Dori whenever he said the text was talking in the in the voice said he was talking in I was at a place where a guy got in a car accident and I heard him talking and it was in that exact voice as a reason why you said in that voice in that the echoey tone
*He breaks into her apartment with a gun. Admits that he had been stalking her for months.* "The prosecutors couldn't prove that he had evil intent." *Serves only 5 years* American law in a nutshell smh
Sat in a courtroom and WATCHED a lawyer argue that a man who, stalked this woman, went to her family’s homes her home, her job, theirs. Called, texted repeatedly. Then he posted wooden signs in her neighborhood begging her to marry him, has her in this courtroom crying begging for a restraining order, the lawyer argues he’s just “expressing true love to her. It’s just love” they continue the case. Judge asks them to turn the recording devices off, then proceeds to make fun of this lawyer for being a fucking idiot and using such a dumb defense. Straight spongebob chicken style and says “that guy really loves this woman.” TL;DR she didn’t get her restraining order.
@@Taylordaneesw wait, so the defendant admitted doing all those things, but for a reason, judge agreed that the the reason was bullshit, but they still didn't see a reason to order the man to stay away from her? I'd understand if the case was ambiguous and there wasn't enough evidence to prove that the harassment was as intensive as the plaintiff claimed but if I understood right that wasn't the case. Out of interest, was there some factor that would have made the restraining order unreasonable? Something like the guy would have had to move his whole life for that to happen. Something like the guy having a serious medical issue and the lady working in only pharmacy store within 50 miles? I don't know the exact law around where I live and certainly not where you do but that's the only kind of explanation that makes any sense to me. If it doesn't literally prevent the guy from living normal life, I can't see the harm in forbidding him to approach a woman who's visibly terrified of him.
I never told them their daughter was sold into human trafficking and was still alive and in need of saving, so, no guilt there... poor girl, no one even bothering to be concerned anymore...
Reminds me of the episode called Walking Distance. Basically this man somehow ends up in his childhood town again after years of leaving it behind. Everything is the same as it was when he was a kid, and there's even a kid version of him there. It's strangely sweet.
Vermilion Lake is by far the scariest story on this channel! Vermilion is my favorite colour, and this story scares me every time. I love this channel so much.
I think it's a fake story because it matches so much from the movie''HOSTEL'' where cops don't care if people have vanished because they work for the kidnappers and they take people to an abandoned factory to terrorize the kidnapped victims.
Yeah, the ones that seem far fetched, I do a google search to see if I can find any news stories of them, and most of the time my hunch in right. Can't find anything.
Yeah, I mean, some of these stories are directed by Quentin Inventino, like the "time warp" but some, even if not true, you know they still happen, like the girl kidnapped by human traffickers.
I know I've heard that sound before. It's like a mix of a few things 1: pad mounted transformers. 2: high voltage power lines. 3: the squeal from an MRI machine. 4: high frequency speakers usually found in or near high schools to prevent loitering.
These are so compelling. Life is so fragile and we can lose it in so many ways. It’s so precious. I lost my Dad two days ago. I am utterly humbled by how much is taken for granted.
I've been on my "Lazy Binge" for the past two days, and all of these stories have my anxiety through the roof, but of course I'm just going to keep listening. What's a little paranoia and stress when there's presentation like Lazy's?
I literally listen all the time. I am kind of jealous of the anxiety you all share. (I know it's not good for most people) but I really want to feel your guys feelings about this same provider I am just entertained by as in none of this can or will affect me and if it does I can't change it so I can't worry. It's so intriguing to me.
My thoughts too; but why would death have an ego of any kind, like he alluded to? Can death be attracted to someone? There’s a good fictional book along those lines actually, can’t quite remember the title. Death, a memoir maybe?
1:45:31 I had a feeling this was the story you were going to tell when you mentioned it was one of your favorites. This story is one of my favorites too. It really creeps me out every time I hear it. There is something about it that’s very believable and yet unbelievable at the same time. That’s what creeps me out the most.
The Tex story sounds like what they call a " time slip" there are lots of famous cases but one of the most is a famous RAF pilot called Sir Robert Victor Goddard who went to the future. really great story
You have a soothing voice to listen to, but I have no idea how people fall asleep to these stories. Guess I'm just a pansy, but they help me stay awake!
I fall asleep to his videos all the time. The only ones that keep me awake are the sleep paralysis stories because it is something that I deal with from time to time and it is truly fucking terrifying. It keeps me awake because I don't want to fall asleep and experience it again, even though as soon as I snap out of it and it is over I am fine. I just hate when it is happening because I feel so helpless during the hallucinations. Fuck sleep paralysis for real for real.
I really struggle with sleep, and listening to these compilations help me so much! Just the way he narrates, and the steady sound helps immensely. But I will listen to them when I want to actually follow the stories too!
Thank you for taking the time to narrate a long video. I just started watching your videos and enjoying them so far. You have a very soothing voice even when telling horror stories haha
The older I get, the more these stories all sound like a creative writing project or someone trying to write a script for a generic Hollywood scary movie lol.
I stumbled upon this channel a week ago, I’m addicted!! Some of the incidents are tragic and my heart truly goes out to those involved, but I still can’t and don’t want to stop listening! I chuckled the other day hearing you read a promotional ad, because it too sounded scary 😂. Great job, Lazy 👍🏼.
The "Havana Syndrom" could likely be due to an insecticide according to an article from Oct. 2019, another states it was pulse microwave ( NBC article , Dec. 2020). These stories were all very interesting, most were scary, and horrific. I'm glad I decided to listen to these...many of them gave me chills!
@@MrBrachiatingApe The Havana Syndrome story is actually complete hogwash. Check out Cheryl Rofer's research on how the microwave attacks are scientifically implausible.

Lazy. Been a fan since the days when it was just you and Busta. I remember when Darkness was a new up and comer. Came back to this one and realized you’re old; I’m old ; and the best things in life are old.
It’s fine. You can’t record the sound accurately. Normal microphones and speakers wouldn’t be able to pick up the majority of the frequencies. The sound you hear isn’t what actually causes the symptoms. They would be using special equipment to project strong radio frequency pulses into target rooms. Nothing a phone can replicate.
I so appreciate your work. I love your voice. Is so soothing. When I have a migraine, as I do now, I'll put on one of your longer videos like this, put on my blindfold, and melt into rest.
Lazy, I’d love to hear you tell horror stories from the Middle East, such as stories during the Iraqi occupation, Afghanistan campaign or even stories from Libya or Syria, there are tons of horrifying and disturbing stories ranging from Saddam regime, things soldiers had witnessed, to things people had to witness from Isis to even the horrors of the Syrian conflict, it would make for an extremely interesting watch since you made the jinn stories already, just an idea though!!! Keep up the fantastic work Lazy! 😃
You know what was more horrifying than than those, WHAT THE SOLDIERS COMMITED WHILE THERE. Now that is a scary story. Those people now live in the U.S. Among normal people.
I saw the Lenny story on Unsolved Mysteries. I feel so bad for the son. I believe that he had some dealings with nefarious people and he got in over his head.
You have no idea how excited I was to get this notification! I have a 4 hour drive home today and listening to this will make the first 2 hours fly by! Love your work! Thank you!!
The Bathtub game sounds like something a Westerner came up with and attributed it to the Japanese. Two reasons stand out. The first is in Japan you don't wash yourself in the tub. The tub is for soaking in. You wash yourself outside of the tub, rinse off all of the suds and then get in the tub to soak for a bit. It's actually considered really bad form to get soap into the tub. Secondly Japanese tubs are small, but deep. They're designed for one person to get in and soak their entire body. You'd need to be a really tiny person to fit yourself into one, facing the tap and have somebody standing behind you in it.
Any tub I’ve had is up against a wall. You’d have to live in a really old building or be wealthy for a claw foot tub that would have room around it and be deep enough to wash your hair in. So maybe an American living in Japan idk. It’s too much to remember to do anyway. I would forget what I was doing by morning
Also I agree, washing in a bath is gross you should shower first or soak then shower off everything you just bathed in (you’re sitting in everything that came off including dead skin). 😋
@@pjhaze Why bring up a claw foot tub in Japan? They tend not to exist there. Most people live in apartments with a small but deep tub. As I said this sounds like a Western idea and attributed to Japan because, seriously how many Westerners are familiar with Japan outside of Godzilla movies and anime?
I really don't know, why, but all those stories are always much more frightning, when they are told by you. Something in your calm voice makes them much more creepier and I love that :)
I’ve been watching since 2016. Incredible videos you make. I use to be so depressed back then I’d come home from school turn these videos on and sleep to them. No joke! Still watching to this day
Thank you lazy! loving the comps, makes it easy to continue to listen while writing, drawing or cleaning without having to click on different videos :) keep it up amazing voice love from uk! Stay safe
The hammer man story at 1:35:00 It sounds like the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs which took place in the industrial city of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. Three teenagers that idolized nazis and tortured animals filmed and murdered innocent people with a hammer. The Casefile podcast does a great job covering this story.
I just want to say that I really enjoy your narrations. Your voice is relaxing, and the pacing is spot on for these chilling stories. Keep up the spooky work! 👹💖
I have said it before and I’ll say it again. Long compilation videos are my absolute favorite to listen to when I’m painting, sketching, or just being lazy and want to enjoy some late night scares 😄🖤

Straight spongebob chicken style and says “that guy really loves this woman.”
TL;DR she didn’t get her restraining order.
There are crimes in uk that got light sentences uk justice ain't that great
@@Taylordaneesw wait, so the defendant admitted doing all those things, but for a reason, judge agreed that the the reason was bullshit, but they still didn't see a reason to order the man to stay away from her?

“Bad Romance” is just a straight up Noir short story, but entertaining nonetheless.

It’s fine. You can’t record the sound accurately. Normal microphones and speakers wouldn’t be able to pick up the majority of the frequencies.
