The way Captain America gets hulk to do what he wants is really funny, he's like that one kid in school that just wants to cause trouble and drama without being involved

Might I say, I really think your voices for Ultimate Captain America and Ultimate Hulk were really good.
The Ultimate Avengers animated movie is literally the only good interpretation of this entire CLUSTER.
Cap is actual Cap and not prototype USAgent.
Tony Stark is also pretty much the same but not drunk.
Hulk isn't a Horngry Cannibal and Banner has interesting motivations.
Ultimate Thor is Ultimate Thor.
Hank Pym is still kinda an a$$hole but he's a funny a$$hole and not an abusive anus.
And best of all the creepy Maximoffs aren't even there!!!
I admit I really do love the sequel, where Klieser is actually a cool villain. He isn’t just “naked guy thats strong”. Also because I like the idea of Wakanda being a shitty place to live in.
Well there’s the MCU. Mostly Phase 1, especially The Avengers film in 2012. That’s another good interpretation of this edgy fun mess.
@@Otis_.why? Wakanda’s charm is that it’s a fantastical country, where the king (black panther) has to make tough decisions in order to *keep* the peace and prosperity. Which involves tough decisions
@@pqcowboychanel yes that is the point, but it’s better when your country is flawed. The council in that film act as an antagonist to Black Panther. It makes sense to have T’Challa lead a country that’s struggling. It’s interesting to have a parallel to Captain America. Where he both protects and (kinda) hates America.
Also, while Hank and Janet in these movies do argue a few times, it’s clear that they still genuinely love each other
It's shockingly hard to find the specifics of the ultimate universe online. As dumb as it is it's fascinating.
Fascinating in the fact that's it's similar to examining a fox with rabies aimlessly plunder around it's environment.

The animated movies definitely made this universe more tolerable.
The Ultimates animated movies are LEAGUES better than their comic counterparts.
I had actually watched the animated movies first and I was looking forward to reading the comics.
Boy was I in for a massive disappointment.

I can't blame you for hatting it cuz ultimates 2 and 3 not 1 and of course ultimatum storyline were mostly the marvel comics I read as a kid and like them as a kid I mostly read DC and hulk comics I never read marvel zombies but I literally have nostalgia for it for some reason maybe cuz the concept was neat I was at a mall saw posters and t shirts so that's probably why

Yeah it’s been recently shown to have been recreated and teased in the horrible comic, Spider-Men 2. And then there was something with the Maker bringing brainwashed versions of the Ultimates or something last year, I’m not caught up.

The Ultimates universe had some interesting concepts, the skrulls being the equivalent on reptilians, Thor being nonchalant about being a god and no one believing him, and Samuel L Jackson Nick Fury. But holy shit, every minute I watch or read more about it the more my brain crumples up in my skull! The Hulk and Betty, the Maximoffs, Hank Pim (well actually thats par for the course for Pim), the shitty dialogue... I am glad the Ultimates universe is not a thing anymore...
To me it's just a guilty a pleasure, it just so goofy and you can tell the writer wants this badass I'm cool cause im a hardass edgy asshole type of comic, like the boys but it comes off as dumb.

Well the TRUTH is that without the Ultimate universe, all modern marvel movies and cartoons would not be as we know them.
The ultimate avengers cartoon introduced me to the avengers so these comic books for me are bringing in nostalgia

Read this book years ago, and for someone who was at an EMH/MCU high, this storyline was oddly amazing and INSANE, so many cringe lines, so many bad choices, and _cool_ art.
That sudden Neutral Milk Hotel break is my favourite part of this whole thing
I actually really like the WW2 version of Captain Americas outfit and how bombastic they make his missions. Also how Iron Man’s armor is a combo of the very first suit and his red and gold armor.

Dear lord what BS way of ending a terrible book. I heard of the Ultimates being bad, I didn't think it was this awful. Also the Avengers doing fan castings of themselves was meta as hell, considering Samuel Jackson now plays Nick Fury.

Good to know I'm not the only one who has issues with the Ultimate universe. I hate how everyone is an asshole. That's not how it's supposed to work!
Yeah, If you make everybody an asshole (some not All) then it seems like the audience won't root for these characters because everybody is a jaded, narcissistic asshole with no positive qualities to admire. If the writers used the main marvel universe characters' personalities as templates except make them more modern, then it could work. But as a whole, while the Ultimate Universe has some good ideas it just falls flat.

The Ultimate universe was potentially a good idea, a realistic Marvel Universe but I think it didn’t end up sticking because it went in too many different directions without proper focus. Having said that I wouldn’t mind some Ultimates Marvel Legends beyond Miles Morales.

I think Mark Millar is very good at plotting. I think his work on the Ultimate X-Men is quite brilliant, and the second story arc is quite frankly among my favorite comic stories ever, period. His concepts and character ideas often are also quite good (not always; horny, cannibalistic Hulk will always be bad). But sometimes he goes so overboard with his edginess and disdain for the corny and sincere era of Marvel Comics from the 60s, it becomes unintentionally hilarious.

ultimate Spider-Man is great, ultimate Thor is interesting, the ultimates is entretaining and the rest is bettewen bad and so weird and edgy it becomes entretaining
I enjoy the two Ultimate Avengers movies. I read three titles in the line. Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, and Ultimate Fantastic Four. Those were enough for me.

Zack Snyder's Avengers
This is the epitomy of a guilty pleasure, that's satirical, graphic, extreme, goofy and intriguing. Like, you wonder the process. I for one appreciate this, not for the message, there is a lack of one, or characters, as they are almost unrelatable from time to time, because it it raw and perfect to reflect criticality. Sometimes it just feels like a darkside, that despite all is very human, and makes you wonder how are you in comparison with these characters, if you want to be different is probably because you see how is that their lives are not so glorious, and that's something. Also, Ultimate Spiderman comes from this, so, I prefer this existing.

I'm not French but as someone who has been there as well as a person who studies history the French stereotype of "surrender and give up immediately" is quite false and that really only happened once and even then just because the government surrendered didn't mean that the French people just sat around waiting for America to save them, there was a large resistance movement which was very helpful to the allied war effort which a war vet like Steve should know about. A more accurate stereotype would be that they are incredibly stubborn and unwilling to ever give up even when they probably should (I am not saying that everyone in France is that way just that if you have to sumerize the entire nation in a couple of traits those are a more accurate)
Now whether or not they are good at war is another thing...
Interesting analysis, I saw that line as a remark of how American, in a nationalist manner, he felt. Taking to the point of Cap dying in this fight, which happens in the United States. However, it's more likely that there is other reasons.
On the subject of Captain America, it’s nice to see Bucky having a happy ending.
And while captain America’s criticism of France during WWII is unnecessary, at least modern day France is kinda weird. It’s not like he criticized Poland or Canada.
