Tim clearly out-prepared his opponent in this game with a tricky variation of the King's Gambit accepted, the Bonsch-Osmolovsky. White had it coming, he had been caught unprepared in this line
I kinda don't buy that those 1500 and 1600s didn't see that for so long, tbh. I'm a bit lower rated and it never has taken that long before I or my opponent saw the glaring queen-pawn situation. Weird.
I understand not seeing that the queen is hanging, even for multiple turns.... But Rb8 leaving the open file and lining up a battery to a completely closed part of the board is mystifying to me LOL

I'm going to be entirely honest, I'm 2300 blitz and did not realize the queen was hanging until I saw aman's shock after tim missed it. I guess my mind calculated axb3 cxb3 Q(somewhere) which looked very good for white; mentally I expected the queen to be gone at that point. Still a very funny video
