@@Neodynium.the_permanent_magnetmaybe he once started playing blitz when he was a complete beginner, then he started to play rapid for a while and improved and then he came back to blitz. And also maybe he is just worse at blitz, I am too, for example, 1400-1500 rapid and only about 1000-1100 blitz. I often do good until i have 30 seconds and then i start to crumble

I would like to see a speed run for u tube when you tell us which piece you are planning to move without it next placement in order for us to pause the video and guess the right move. Except when you're under time pressure, of course.

I've been trying to find it too, so far i was able to find that the vocal samples are taken from "I'm Just Trying To Dance" - KLY MO. But that's all, maybe one day we'll know.

Would love to know this track name too. I stripped his commentary from the audio to isolate just the music and shazam doesn't have an ID for it. Might be unreleased or part of some royalty free mix these guys use as free license for their videos.

I'm 1800: I know this is aimed at lower levels, but 7:15 is so instructive. That'd pretty much be an automatic capture on b5 for me to win the pawn, but seeing the resulting position with the other capture is a really nice visual moment!

Interesting to see e4, i stopped playing that years ago as I really enjoy d4. The other thing I've noticed is that elo has changed an old 800 elo is like 600 now. Either that or I just suck lol
They got harder for sure. I regularly encounter ~1300 rapid players that the engine rates at 1800+.

Thumbs up! I just subscribed. I like this. Explains everything. Especially since the only thing I know how to play as white is Danish and Smith-n-Mora. And some kind of trick when they go Scandi. And some form of Tal when they go Carrot Can. But still trying to figure out how it works. And also still trying to figure out what to do against French. As black I play Carrot Can and Benoni.

That f3 move by the 500 was absolutely bizarre lol, I don't think I would ever play that move. Qe2 Qe7 did pop up on my radar but I thought it looked too absurd that I discarded it right away...these 500s are not messin around

As much as I enjoy watching grandmasters trash beginners, I prefer it revolve around around a specific opening so I can learn to use that opening at different levels. E4 just too general.
