I’m so sad I missed the linen sets. I woke up, but they all were sold out in a flash. I was thinking about wearing the terracotta set for a summer wedding if it ever restocks in time. The sets look great on you and I personally feel the fabric is higher quality and you might get more wear out of it also as separates. I think the magenta dress looks stunning on you, just might not get as much wear. I really enjoy watching your videos and trust your reviews

First of all, these are all gorgeous on you - especially that pink pleated maxi dress! However, I wouldn't keep any, lol. Here's why - except for the black, they're all very distinctive pieces, and I've found that most people don't want to repeat-wear things for rare formal occasions. I used to go to a lot of formal events (like galas, openings, etc) with my husband for his job, and even though we live in a big city, it tends to be the same crowd at those kinds of events, so people remember what you're wearing if it's really a remarkable piece. I outfit-repeat all the time in my regular life, but don't love to do it for formal events - you're often photographed at these events, and it becomes really obvious (people also make snide comments sometimes). Renting is the way! That way you can wear something "new" at a lower price, and it's more sustainable than just wearing a really fancy piece once or twice. Exception to this is black - if you have a pretty plain, basic black formal dress, you can accessorize it differently and it's not immediately obvious.

I´m kinda feeling like Sézane is coming out with too many collections. I preferred them coming out with fewer collections, so when a lookbook came out, you couldn´t wait for sunday.
Yes, I have this exact feeling! I’ve been following them for a little over 2 years now and I have the impression that they had fewer/more spaced out releases before. I think they used to have 4 core releases (4 seasons) but now they spread these into so many drops Act I, Act II, pre spring/10 year collection/Sézane Éditions that we’re no longer able to catch up! Even for my videos, sometimes I receive a package and by the time I record, edit and publish, everything is sold out and 2 more drops just happened 🤯
Yeah, that's what I have been thinking lately. I was worried if they keep this up, their standards of their clothing material might deteriorate over time, and they might become like any other high-end fast fashion brand. And like you mentioned about consumerism.
With your skin tone and eye/hair colour, you actually suit more vibrant tones like the first dress. You should consider adding more of the vibrant tones to your wardrobe and lip colour.
Thank you for sharing your opinion! The first dress looks great on the video (with the correct lighting) and with the right make up. Unfortunately, bright and vibrant colors pull out the green /olive undertone I have and it’s normally super unflattering (that’s why I avoids most of them, also my personality). I can get away with some bright colors if if they’re deeper, but in general I need the right make up to make it work. I am a “dark autumn”, so the best colors for me are the deep ones (I can wear these without any make up and I’ll look healthy and decent 😂). Burgundy, navy, dark red, browns, anything deep normally looks great!
@@milainnewyork I guess that I should have used the word 'deeper' tones rather than 'vibrant'. I am a deep autumn flowing into winter, so I have olive undertones as well. I find that paler colours wash me out.
Hello! I bought from this collection the linen black pant and I love it. So cunfortable. But I bought the green and white top and I was like : it's a joke? With the inverse print.... I don't like it at all with the green in the back and the print in white... I think I'm in a Christmas party + the tissu doesn't fit well... It's to heavy. I wrote to sezane to have an explanation and they answered a generique answer.... A big no no for sezane for this time... I was so disappointed 😢 Xoxo from France!
