World War 3 has broken out. You knew it was coming years before and got to work building an underground nuclear bunker. While the war sirens and bomb blasts sound above ground, you are safe in your bunker. The only problem is... you might have to stay there for quite a while.

Every video I make stems from a large collection of sounds that I have created and collected over a number of years. Those sounds are then altered, distorted, cut, panned, and layered on numerous audio tracks using NCH video software. The visuals are altered with numerous inserts using green screen effects and overlays as well as an introductory title indicating a time and place in history. It be kinda cool in my opinion if the radio operators slowly stopped talking little by little until completely stopping like 10 or 20 minutes before the end to not only have the implied possibility of them being dead but to really capture a feeling of isolation and terror that in a nuclear war this is it. There is nothing and left out there, just the dreaded silence of a now empty, poisoned world.
Nice idea, I'll try that in a future video!
@@ambientescapade I’m glad to have given you some ideas then! :)
Day 13 of World War III
I was lucky to escape to my bunker as soon as the bombs dropped. Unfortunately, I lost almost everyone in the neighborhood. Some lucky to escape, while others are sadly captured by the army or worse, dead. By this point, I've lost contact with the outside world, so that means I'll have to spend some time in my bunker, listening to and feeling the rumbling of the bombs, and the wailing of the sirens, along with the dead static other then some military channels that never shut up. I don't know what happens next, but I do know one thing:
Things are about to change.. Fast...
Nice story!
Thanks. I have a knack for making stories like these🙂
A bit too noisy. But the concept is right.
Thanks for the feedback
Yeah, i agree
Well after a nuclear attack why would communications be silent ? Video is fine .
@@Bryan48950they wouldn't be silent but the volume of radio is too high to be relaxing. Turn it down a notch so it's audible but less bothersome
Idk man perfect for me
Radio and radar are important tools because they help so you can hear whats happening and radars help because to know where the enemies are heading.
You put a lot of effort into your video i love it its great its like you were signed up to be in the war but choosed to stay in the bunker. Its like you are really there i am glad that i am not there are i would be shaking don't know what to do and heard the sirens go off. You wish that you could get out of there and go back home with your family and friends because you miss them they are probably worried about you and think they will never see you again.
Thank you
What is it about being a lone survivor in this gloomy, flickering, subterranean refuge that’s oddly so alluring? Just imaging you and a handful of devout buddies hunkering down, playing cards and board games, reading survival manuals while some man the radio and other do mechanical work on the bunker.
It's really safe to stay in the bunker, and then you won't have to worry about getting killed or hurt
Great job! Thanks, we need to see food and water stocked in our bunker, and some personal protective devices please.
Thank you
It would be best just to stay in the bunker because war is a scary thing to be involved in because you don't know if you are going to stay alive or die.
The buzzing light is just too noisy and overpowers everything else, but I love the concept.
Thanks
The guaranteed sounds of security, your safe, and out of visibility
and why is that sound is security? I mean does something that securing that bunker makes that sound? probably yes but idk that thing can u tell me
If the bomb drops the radio goes out
I like the idea. As others have pointed out the buzzing is just way too loud. The light flashes way too much for my taste.
Would love to see something similar only as a basement bunker during the "Zombie Apocalypse". Maybe incorporate various shortwave chatter but keep it sporadic and not as loud. Soften it up a bit, do away with flashing light and buzzing. Allow the true feeling of solitude during an incredulous apocalyptic event such as the dead returning to life to feed on the living. Plenty of material out there on the net and in the movies to create a multitude of audio events intermixed with static and background noise to keep things interesting, spontaneous and scary! 🙂
Just my two cents worth of thought. Still appreciate your effort with this one. Not my "cup of tea" though.
That buzz. :-(
This really did happen american soldiers got killed and badly injured this is terrible we lost a lot of lives thoses days it was the bloodiest war that i ever imagined.
If i was an American soldier trained in the military 🪖 i would choose to stay in the bunker because this is very scary 😨 😳 😐.
I dont think staying in the bunker would be an option 😃
Hi, this is Brittany knowles, so this video reminds you of a movie based on a true story about World War one are two
Hi, thanks for listening
good effort.
Thanks 👍
Perfection.
Thank you
I thought i was in FNAF
A shame that the time on the wall clock does not change.
Maybe in a future one 👍
Great work, i want to sharp my machete right now!
Thanks
Video is perfect
Thanks a lot🙂
I am not for sure if you can take showers i don't know if bunkers have a shower. We'll let me tell you least you have a bed to sleep on
True
I would rather take the buzzing sound i know its to loud but it's better than listening to the bombings and the planes flying over.
On the 28th, a few days ago the bombs stopped falling, supplies are starting to be scarce, as anxiety and monotony take over the banker, there are 7 people, lately we are having baesha
Nice description. Whats Baesha though? 🤔
Two bombs dropped within a minute of each other and you still have comms and power?
Very secure bunker
the wall clock doesn't work
Yeah it malfunctioned for a while😄
Why do I feel like this is like a zombie attack in the army is bombing the cities trying to kill
That's one way of looking at it 😃
Buzz is way too loud
