Our LAST DAY with Adri and Peyton…

- It was a busy “last week” in Louisiana with Adri! We drove 45 minutes to a town with high hopes of finding a thriving farmers market there, only to find 3 small tables at the market…. But it wasn’t a complete loss, because the town itself was quite cute, and we had fun walking along the Main Street and then along the bayou together.
Michael and Sabrina find time to squeeze in a date at a really good Indian restaurant and follow it up with cheesecake at LA Cheesecake Bakery (the bakery that made the cake for Adri and Peyton’s wedding). We enjoy the cheesecake so much that we decide to take the kids back the next day to pick out their own cheesecake bites, and they have a lot of fun playing games together while enjoying their bites.
On our last day with Adri and Peyton, we all have a silly string war, and cook up a massive feast to share together.

It is very important to run an exhaust fan while using a gas stove in this space. These stoves emit a huge amount of noxious fumes for a space of that size. In fact, they were never designed to be used without extraction fans. Moreover, new research has shown that a gas range can emit more benzene than a lit cigarette -- when the stove is not in use. It can be especially deleterious in a restricted space where there are many children with sensitive airways. Be safe!
We usually open the window behind the stove. Thank you for the info on Benzene. I will have to do some reading.

Love everybody doing their own pancake. Love everybody climbing outside of the designated play zone. But my favorite might be Toby finding the eyelash. I am sure there is quite a story attached to that eyelash. Where I live in southern Mississippi, not a one Indian food place has ever lasted for over a year. I love the food myself. The world needs more onion rings. Thanks for the fun.

I don’t think they have plans to be on the road anytime soon, but we will be back…. At some point! The hardest part is just not knowing when!

Good job Boyd family with the pancake making class onboard the bus. Michael even told Alex he's a chef now. Then Levi and Jesse show how well they can dance.
Great looking town you were at. Buildings and surroundings looked interesting. The Cheesecake Bakery also looked great. Meeting the owners and hearing their story as well.
And then we get to see Adri and Peyton have fun with the Boyd family with many cans of confetti spray, and some cooking. After leaving Adri and Peyton, where next will the bus take y'all? We'll have to wait to find out. 😀

Ummm, Toby may have had to cut a chunk of footage out where he describes your cheesecake as the opposite of those cheesecakes!! I said, “Michael, you’re throwing her under the bus!! You love her cheesecake!”
