I like all your videos as you do to fix your car've seen all your videos work with my dad I'm a mechanic helper and your videos have brought me all the doubts I had at the time to fix a car or simply when put to fix my car Greetings from Argentina La Rioja! :)
Wow great job man! I've been watching your videos for a long time now and you are very key on detail work. Nobody would ever know there was rust there! I love your clean engine bay also very nice and detailed.
Duuuude, this video alone made me subscribe. I've watched several of your vids of the Mirage, but this one amazed me soo much. Thanks for showing us such a kickass diy. c:
Hey macky thanks for the videos i wonder where's is your car now. Is it still running i just got mine and got a lot of fixing to do and spare parts are hard to find in Canada
Nice work man, really nice work. Great effort to do that well, may be not the perfect job, but when it's done with passion and common sense, it's all that count.. And Kudos for the result, MINT ! Cheers from France !!!
+terninador mx Yes, I will make it sometime. It's easy. You just have to polish it. Here is what you need: www.ebay.com/itm/HEAVY-DUTY-7-ELECTRIC-CAR-BOAT-PAINT-POLISHER-SANDER-DETAILING-BUFFER-W-PAD-/360930681110?hash=item5409252116:g:-MoAAOSw1-RUZmLC and this: www.ebay.com/itm/Meguiars-Mirror-Glaze-105-205-Ultra-Cut-Compound-Finishing-Polish-8oz-Set-/331692187930?hash=item4d3a65211a:g:4j8AAOSwNSxVCxMP&item=331692187930&vxp=mtr 105 is for big scratches 205 is for small scratched So use 105, then 205 Sometimes you will have to sand it a little bit first to get rid of really bad scratches. So you will need P2500 sandpaper.
Greetings from Romania Mackey!!! I'm curious if you know where it is on the map in Europe. I have a Mitsubishi Lancer 1.6 petrol from 2003. He brought it from Germany 6 years ago. I am very pleased with the car and want to go with it all over Russia and Siberia, then Mongolia, Kazakhstan and south to the old Silk Road. I learned a lot from you and thank you. You are a wizard and fully prepared : electricity, mechanics, tinsmithing and painting.
You have the great advantage that you find sprays and all kinds of materials and equipment that are not found in our country. Example the compass from the oil sump with drain tap.
About the clear coat part. Some paints are better for NOT having the clear coat, for the reason that when they're polished they will have a better looking finish, when it comes to vivid colors. So it depends. You'll find some ferraris and porsches without the clear coat. I work with cars and have just a tip for you to make a better polish job. Instead of trying to explain everything I suggest you check out the AMMO NYC youtube channel. He teaches very well how to make the car shiny. And again I admire how you just fix stuff doing it all yourself. Grats :D
I did not know that some cars came from the factory with out clear coat. I have a 2006 scion xb that I need to do a bit of body work on and paint those spots after. Scion xb is a economy car so would it have clear coat.
