Pro Tip: When you're leaving the ridden hives, make sure that whoever's holding the totem(s) DOES NOT SWITCH TO ANOTHER WEAPON OR ACCESSORY. I was not thinking straight, my team and I spent 20mins searching for the 3 totems, and at the end my Doc instinct kicked in and I swapped to my medkits to heal someone, which dropped the totems, WHEN THE COUNTDOWN TO LEAVE WAS AT 2 SECONDS... we didn't cash those in because of my mistake... Resist the urge to even throw frags at enemies if you're holding the totem and leaving...
I was so incredibly excited for the Weaponsmith Card in theory. However, in practical application it is practically useless for me since you can Unbolt without using a card. If I have a White TAC14 I just unbolt it for 500 copper in a saferoom. When I find a Green or Blue TAC14 I swap the attachments over and then unbolt the Green or Blue - in the Saferoom (never need to Unbolt a Purple.) It's so easy to get a single Blue/Purple Long Barrel, Bullet Stumble, and Tactical Stock and just carry them for the rest of the game. No need to waste a card slot. Just take another Copper Card to pay for the 2-6 unboltings you'll ever need to do inside a Saferoom.
Back 4 blood was massive L , had so much potential. They should’ve added first person point of view for special ridden, new special riddens instead of new variants, and campaign versus mode

For those wondering how the 20% number is being used in Well Rested's Team Overheal at 10:30 Since 35 of the 93 heals go to regular health, the other 58 go to temp health. 20% of 58 is 11.6, which puts Swing at 113+11+10 = 134, where the extra 10 is from Antibiotic Ointment. (We can mostly ignore the decimals, since the game rounds to a whole number.) In summary: 20% of the healing that would otherwise be wasted is turned into temp HP.
So exactly like "Bolstered Health" except it's appended to the end of your health bar in an invisible block and fills with "overhealing" with meds... So can "Vanguard" replenish that?
@@JOHNfuknRAMBO If you have 100HP and take the Overheal card you can never overheal past 100HP. In order to overheal past 100HP you need a Bolstered Health bar from Charice or Fit as a Fiddle Card. Then you can Overheal past 100HP up to 125 - 145HP per person. The extra 25-45 being Temp Health. And yes Vanguard replenishes Bolstered Health.
Man shredder range is terrifying, especially when they're across a gap in the tunnels, can't tell you how many times ive seen a team mate get yanked and fall to their doom. Also skull totem does 60 damage at 2 skulls and 90 at 3 skulls
Thanks for breaking this all down, it is extremely helpful. Now I can refer all my friends that play to this video instead of me (poorly) trying to explain all the new features.
I love the fact that they didn't lock the access to the tunnels and the items to only those who have the dlc, if you get lucky and found someone that has the dlc you can get the points and play it aswell
I played the new update yesterday and everytime something happened I thought “swings gonna make a vid about this….. and this….. aaaaand this….. and that”
I’m not sure if you noticed, but when you attached the second skull to your totem the rarity increased to purple. Keep up the great work, love your content!
I know I'm months later, and you might have noticed it already, but I'm gonna type this anyway; Leftclicking attachments makes you drop them on the ground, but if both weapons are unbolted, you can drag/drop like you did - but rightclicking the attachments auto-switches the attachment to the other weapon. You need both weapons unbolted for that to work though, just keep that in mind.
New barrel attachment- spray and pray=unlimited range -50% accuracy. Had 2 spawn on a guns, 1 more drop on the ground plus the new Legendary assault rifle named pestilence from a single box! The assault rifle is actually really good! You can’t use attachments on it but it has a stacking 3% damage on consecutive hits along with a 1% damage reduction! Also found the new melee hammer in the inner lair of the same tunnels. Super strong! Other attachments I have seen are sharpshooters monocle +100% weak spot damage -25% bullet damage, and an extended mag I can’t remember the name of with a +80% increase in clip size + 20% fire rate -50% accuracy. Also crazy amounts of copper in the tunnels and especially the inner lairs! Can’t wait to explore them all. Just be prepared for a bunch of bosses in the inner lair. Once you use the c4 to blow the webbing there is always something behind it. I think I had 8 of them. One had an Ogre, next had a hag, next had 2 breakers, next had 6 tall boys, next had 5 reekers and that’s as far as I got. 😂 The breakers and the hag didn’t stand a chance with the hammer! It was absolutely nasty on weak spots
I love your B4B content. Idc what people say, I love this game and I appreciate how much they change and add here. This update was a really solid shake up. Thanks for your solid content ^w^
A shredder cleared my whole team in the tunnnels. He was on the other side of a gap and pulled everyone to him making us all fall to insta death. Honestly incredible.
Stealthy passage is a killer economy card. 100 copper for every disarm, and on average you can get at least 3-5 a map. Some maps you can get more than 10. New hives wreck the original game because you come out of them with purple or blue attachments and weapons even on 1-1. You also get extra cards, if not No Hope, and the new legendary weapons are stupidly powerful if you get lucky and find them.
It's so unbelievably slow though. Like 8 seconds to disarm one thing. By the time you disarm three alarms/birds on Recruit/Veteran everyone else will be so far away that you end up getting grabbed with no help, or cause a horde by getting hit during the animation lock. I'd only recommend the card if the character has 50-100% Use Speed. Using it on Karlee is bad as that negates her 2 Quick Item slots. Using it on Healers is bad as Defibs give back character Lives with Medical Professional. Now I know there are 5-6 situations where you have to go through an alarmed door. This card would be very useful for those situations on Nightmare. However, I feel like just as many Hordes will be called every time you fail a disarm. I honestly think it's better to just take another Cooper card and bring Razor wire for the "guaranteed" hordes.
I waited a bit to get this game and I just bought it a few days ago I’m having a lot of fun with it but I thought it was really funny that 90% of the time I was in a tunnel so by the end of the campaign I have no idea what’s going on in the story 😹
You can make it 80% now after the update. Numb got nerfed from 15>10%, BUT Spikey Bits got buffed 10>20%. Personally I wouldn´t use the ”get hit for 15 or more health and gain 25% damage resistance”, just because I find myself to not take any damage right after getting hit hard by a breaker or tallboy. Instead if anything, they hit me again 5 sec later with no buff from that card. It`s fun for the meme, but not optimal for me.
Not sure if anyone notice, but Power Swap now does not work if you swap your weapon after EMPTYING your magazine within 1 second. It'll only work if your weapon still have some bullets left when you switch to other weapon
So let me get this right, they nerfed money grubbers by putting a cap on it because of the new corruption card "cost of avarice" which will nerf the player for having a lot of copper on them......How does this make sense to the devs.
The ridden hive it gets used on gives you thousands of copper which makes you move at a snails pace but I don’t get the nerf as you can drop your copper
Because if it didn't have a limit the cost of avarice corrupt card is basically a total buff to anyone doing money grubbers getting that card on the inner tunnels is basically payday letting you walk out with 3 to 4 thousand copper I'd imagine without the limit you could probably make double of that even plus the limit on regular levels even on recruit your never gonna hit that cap anyways
Money Grubbers was not nerfed. To my knowledge there wasn't a single map in the game that had 25 Gold Piles. Especially on Veteran / Nightmare. However the Cost of Avarice seems to spawn 25-50 Gold Piles. Not to mention the madness that can happen if you have multiple Copper Scavengers in The Nursery level. Also, my friends just give all of the Copper to a single player. Better to have 30 debuff stacks (max) on one person then all four people.
Skull totem looked like it actually used less stamina than knife/punch when I was using both? So on a non-holly melee adrenaline-fueled build it seemed to be a nice bonus.
Okay so the way to make use of the Unbolting mechanic is just get a gun that can have all the attachments you want, so a revovler, unbolt it and keep it for the whole game as just your attachment bank.
Yep, or just unbolt your favorite White, Green, and Blue weapon once. That way its guaranteed to be a damage increase since you always keep the same mods. Total of 1500 Copper. Swap all of your Mods each time your colour variety changes. Saves a lot of money if you like to buy weapon attachments from the shop every time you find a new gun.
@@jaysonburke6839 No no no, I'm saying you only spend 500 during the whole chaptor, because you only unbolt 1 secondary weapon like Revolver and keep it the whole match as just your Attachment bank.
From my experience, grab a skull totem, walk up, and bash their balloon head in, easy. Or you can wait until they’re stationary and shoot from a distance.
You mention that you won’t be using tool kits at all in the caves. I am pretty sure you can use tool kits on the warped chests to counter the negative affects. Just another way to do it...
yeah yeah this stuff is really interesting and makes sense to be harder than nightmare. But one of the points you're always missing in your videos is that the game never works the way it is supposed to or the way they actually tell you it is supposed to. For instance, I was unable to stumble a snitch in No Hope with a green barrett and a blue stumble attachment.. and let's not forget that the reason they had added the amped up card was that they increased the special ridden spawns by 60-75% on Feb patch in order for the run to be sustainable.. but then again they kept the ridden spawns constant but amped up got super nerfed. And of course they never fix bugs that favor the ridden and in game lags are worse than ever. I really believe they could have done something better with their time. Spilled milk innit
Something in the patch notes stated: "Improved lockpicking ping behavior for bots." Which leads me to believe that bots can now lockpick the Tool rooms if you ping them. Just like you can Ping First Aid Stations and they will use them.
Fresh bandage does count, im healing when i enter a tunnel hive. Edit: just found out that loading into nursery doesnt work on fresh bandage, sadly atleast when messing around on recruit? I am not sure
Wish you would have shown the inner lair. We got to it and are stuck, not sure if it is thanks to a bug or we're missing something, but really need a guide to figure out.
I found a MAJOR Bug in the game. If you ever get disconnected from the server your character will lose ALL your copper and ALL your weapons. Even if you immediately reconnected. Imagine getting all your attachments and a legendary just to DC for a few seconds, then losing EVERYTHING.
I never found the answer, but it seems that "Life Insurance" team stack was fixed... But what does that mean? Does the +15 % vs trauma reduction stack?
So if you start a mission, go into a tunnel, then start the next mission, are you picking 3 cards instead of 2? Or does it bypass the card picking on the next mission? Those armor points also seem really insane. Every party will pretty much require a Sharice xD
Every Hive saferoom let's you pick another card. Even the Hive underneath of the Hives give another card. You can have your entire deck played Halfway through the act. Not to mention Blue/Purple/Orange guns on the very first level.
Swingpoynt! Does armor hit proc with the new bodyguard perk card? I.E If somebody gets hit by a tall boy while Im nearby with armor do I absorb that 75% damage or does it proc an armor plate?
I like the missions where the people you’re supposed to rescue are all “Help me help me!” and you just ignore them and hop in a tunnel 😂
Yeah, I have the same problem with those parts of the story, now it feels kinda inconsistent n out of place
Lol just last night we rescued those people from the apartments in Act I and led them to the tunnel and left them there

As in just the normal ones and not the mutations? If so is that new?
@@houstin7866 well if you upgrade the ridden they become mutated
I never found the answer, but it seems that "Life Insurance" team stack was fixed... But what does that mean? Does the +15 % vs trauma reduction stack?
Thoughts on Sadist and Overprotective?
Thanks man 👍🏾
thank you for the video
I've found out me and my team have way more hp then usual
So if you start a mission, go into a tunnel, then start the next mission, are you picking 3 cards instead of 2? Or does it bypass the card picking on the next mission?
Those armor points also seem really insane. Every party will pretty much require a Sharice xD
Every Hive saferoom let's you pick another card. Even the Hive underneath of the Hives give another card. You can have your entire deck played Halfway through the act. Not to mention Blue/Purple/Orange guns on the very first level.
Thanks!
Swingpoynt! Does armor hit proc with the new bodyguard perk card? I.E If somebody gets hit by a tall boy while Im nearby with armor do I absorb that 75% damage or does it proc an armor plate?
